About me
Dr Peter Marshall, BA., BSc., PhD, FRSA, BST.Dip, DCHyp. IHA is a distinguished psychologist, hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, providing professional help with a wide range of issues in Monmouthshire and Harley Street London.
Dr Marshall holds two bachelors degrees and a PhD in Psychology and trained in Clinical Hypnosis and Brief Strategic Psychotherapy at The Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation, receiving practitioner diplomas in each. Dr Marshall is a former Principal of The London School of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, a former External Examiner for The Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation, in both Clinical Hypnosis and Brief Strategic Psychotherapy and the author of A Handbook of Hypnotherapy, which is used by hypnotherapy training establishments throughout the world. His contribution to the science and practice of hypnotherapy is noted in sources such as Wikipedia, as the creator of The Trance Theory of Mental Illness. Twenty-two years ago, he performed a much-publicised tour of the UK, demonstrating an ability to put whole auditoriums of people into a trance, simultaneously.
His extensive list of publications includes both academic and popular psychology.
