I can help you to break free from the cycle of negative thinking, anxiety and panic attacks.
I know that at the moment it probably feels very dark and that you may not be able to even imagine that there is a way out. But there is - and you can soon begin to look forward to a calmer, brighter and happier future.
I’ve been a full-time Cognitive Hypnotherapist since 2009 and over the years have helped many people let go of anxiety, panic attacks, fears and depression. In the past I’ve also suffered in these areas myself – so I know that Cognitive Hypnotherapy really works.
You are an individual, and your problem is unique to you. So I don’t work from set treatment plans or scripts. I will spend time really listening to the way you experience your problem, plus your goals. I will then design a unique treatment plan and write powerful suggestion patterns especially for you.

As I said, in the past I suffered from anxiety and depression, which then led to panic attacks. At one stage I didn’t leave the house for a year. I thought I had dealt with these issues following traditional therapy, but I obviously hadn’t as they kept reappearing.
Luckily I discovered Cognitive Hypnotherapy and realised it doesn’t have to be that way. I took control, learnt new ways to think and behave and was finally able to let go of the constant voice of worry.
I understand the massive impact these issues can have on your life, and also how you can let go of old thought patterns and behaviours, even after a lifetime.
After qualifying as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and working full-time for several years I decided I wanted to do more. So I also trained as a hypnotherapy supervisor. This means that I help to support other less experienced therapists to ensure they are running safe and ethical practices.

Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner at the Quest Institute with Trevor Silvester the creator of Cognitive Hypnotherapy.
Since qualifying I have trained extensively in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Working with Depression, EMI Plus (Eye Movement Integration – which is great for working with trauma and PTSD), and CBT Coaching.
I am also a qualified Hypnotherapy Supervisor supporting other hypnotherapists to build safe and ethical practices.
Professional Membership and Your Safety
I am an Accredited Member of the NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy). I am also a member of the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), which is the Department of Health approved organisation for complementary therapies in the UK.
As such I am bound by their Code of Ethics which includes your safety, confidentiality and a commitment to ongoing training – so you can always be sure that I am using the safest and most up to date techniques in our work together.

Everyone is an individual, so it is impossible for me to put a 'one size fits all' price on my website. During our free initial conversation you can tell me a bit about yourself, your problem and your goals and we can then agree the right package of sessions and support for you.
But personally I hate websites that give me no idea of what to expect. So here is a typical example of a client package:
- 8 full weeks of support;
- An initial breakthrough session;
- Ongoing therapy and coaching sessions;
- Additional support as required including email, text, phone, MP3 recordings, videos;
- Sessions available wherever you are in the world online or via phone;
- Cost is per package but averages at £80 per session;
- Payment by installments is available if appropriate.

I provide hypnotherapy sessions at the Tree Room Centre in Colchester, my office in the Frinton on Sea area and online via completely confidential software.
A downstairs space is available at The Tree Room in Colchester on request - I have to book this specially so please let me know at time of booking. I also provide therapy online via Zoom - a confidential and secure meeting space.
Monday to Thursday and also Saturday mornings. The last weekday slot is at 6pm. Other times are available online if you are based in another country and time zone.
