About me
I specialise in weight loss, Eating Problems, Disordered eating, food addiction, Binge Eating Disorder, obesity, and ARFID.
Have you tried many diets, and you've lost the weight only to put it back on again?
Have you had enough and do you want it to change for good?
Many people come to me because they are tired of being overweight, they have health issues due to their eating problems and they are fed up having tried diet after diet and nothing works. Many suffer from anxiety and or health anxiety and feel despondent due to their weight.
I help you get to the root of your eating problems. When we work on the root of any issue, we untangle your eating patterns and you start to gain new perspective and healthier habits. The results become sustainable and long-lasting. Weight loss becomes easier and you develop a positive relationship with food. Many people find that they end up feeling happier, more confident, and more importantly, lose weight.
We go through a process where we look at what you want, where you are now, and what is stopping you. We look at what your deeper issues are that are causing your eating problems and work on them. I facilitate the healing process from childhood and adulthood.
Throughout the process people report; Losing weight sustainably so the weight stays off, Healing past hurts so life becomes enjoyable, finding new and healthier eating habits, and eating problems and issues become resolved so food stops taking over their lives.
My Modalities/types of therapy I use
. Hypno-Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, counseling, NLP, EFT, EMDR, CBT, inner child therapy, gastric band hypnotherapy, binge eating and obesity, and emotional eating. This is known as an integrative approach.
Each session is tailored to you and your issues.
By integrating many modalities I am able to treat you as a whole person. I help you deal with the cause of your eating problems, not just the symptoms.
This means I am dealing with issues such as abuse, neglect, abandonment, stress and anxiety, Neurodiversity. These could all be contributing issues.
Experience
I have been a practicing therapist since 2012. My specialism has always been eating disorders, disordered eating, weight loss and emotional eating.
Results
Therapy is a two way relationship. I am the facilitator to helping you find a healthier, more balanced way of eating.
It is unethical to discuss about success rates, because success is subjective to each client and success is also dependant on both parties.
I do not ask for testimonials as the UKCP deem it is unethical and could give an unfair advantage to me the therapist and disadvantage the client.
People do report however that they develop a more positive relationship with themselves and food. They gain control over their eating. They understand their triggers and are able to manage those triggers. They know the underlying causes to their eating and are able to process them, so they no longer bother them.
Associations
These are bodies to protect the client. It means if you are not happy with something, you have someone that you can complain to.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Disordered Eating. You may not fit into the category of an Eating disorder, but your eating is disordered. This means there is no regularity to it.
Disordered Eating can look like
- Overeating past the point of full
- Constant picking or snacking when not hungry
- Night Time eating
- Secret eating
- Bingeing
- Not aware of hunger, or not aware of being full. Not connected to the signals your stomach gives you.
Emotional Eating. Very similar to disordered eating, only this also includes eating to cope or manage your emotions. Common signs of Emotional Eating are:
- Eating when bored
- Eating because you are upset, angry, frustrated, happy,
- Eating to fill a gap/void/empty feeling.
- Eating because you feel lonely
- Eating gives you something to do.
