About me
I’m an experienced, registered, qualified and insured Hypnotherapist working in East Kent (Sandwich and Herne Bay) and Online. I have extensive training and experience in hypnotherapy including anxiety; trauma and phobias; habits; relationships; chronic health conditions (fatigue, mobility issues, pain management), depression, eating disorders and body image.
I also work with ancestral and generational patterns, parts therapy, gestalt, transgenerational trauma, polyvagal theory (vagus nerve) and past life regression.
I'm a great generalist but I specialise in working with neurodivergent clients including ADHD, Autism, and Dyspraxia, and am trauma informed with additional training in mental health conditions.
Much of my work is on a one session basis, which saves my clients time and money. However, for complex or multiple issues where multiple sessions are needed I offer a multi session discount.
I love to study the brain and subconscious, but I won't bore you with the science unless you want to know more (I love questions!). You can see my full list of qualifications and training via:
https://www.heidmind.com/qualifications
Inclusivity, diversity, and safety is very important to me. I have additional training in mental health, safeguarding, working with transgender and non-binary clients, and incorporating client spirituality.
I offer free consultations - you can choose between video call, telephone call, or text messaging (because not everyone feels comfortable talking)
My main office is in Sandwich, where the room is ground floor and accessible, and I also have a space to teach yoga from. I also work from Herne Bay, which is also ground floor.
I also offer online appointments.
You can book directly from my website:
https://www.heidhypnotherapy.com/book
It's quick and easy and takes both Paypal and Card payments.
I can't usually answer my phone, as much of my time is spent in session with clients. But you can get hold of me by booking a free consultation or booking a call back here.
Or free free to send an email, text, or WhatsApp message.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
