About me

My name is Anastasia Lappo and I am a clinical hypnotherapist and licensed mindfulness teacher with a private practice in South & West London (Battersea & Kensington), offering therapy both online and face-to-face,  with a mission to resolve personal and professional challenges, quickly and efficiently.

I am a member of National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and accredited by Professional Standards Authority.

Having worked nationwide and internationally, I have a rich, insightful, inclusive, non-judgemental socio-cultural worldview.

I’m passionate about people and their wellbeing and excel at resolving problems. My aim is to understand your presenting issues in depth and work with you to find effective solutions.

Depending on your needs, I employ a wide variety of therapeutic techniques, and work integratively.

Training, qualifications & experience

My interest in hypnotherapy began from a very early age as my grandmother was a healer. I used to spend my childhood observing her holistic lifestyle and the techniques she used to help people, which influenced me greatly. I now tend to live my life holistically and apply this when working with my clients. Working with the whole person, not just their mental health.

In 2002, when I was obtaining BA in teaching with Child Psychology as a compulsive module, it was the first time our lecturer mentioned words “hypnosis” and ‘hypnotherapy”. Although, I decided not to pursue a career in teaching, I held various jobs after immigrating to the UK, mainly in finance and even had a company of my own. Over the years I completed various holistic courses for personal development and finally made the decision to qualify as a hypnotherapist in January 2019 – a tribute to my gran.

I hold Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma, which is considered the gold standard of hypnotherapy. I qualified at Central England College in Birmingham, UK. I provide a confidential therapy service with a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental approach. Whatever your presenting issue might be, I have an extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with a wide range of issues utilising hypnotherapy, mindfulness, coaching, psycho education, counselling skills, NLP, EFT, EMDR, CBH, ACEs, gestalt therapy, regression, progression, metaphoric cards, psycho-sensory therapies to find the best, quickest and simplest way for you to get to the desired outcome either via single sessions or structured programs.

Client’s feedback:

”I would highly recommend Anastasia as a life coach for positive wellbeing and as a hypnotherapist. Her guided meditation sessions were extremely helpful in guiding me to complete my PhD. A great way to step back from everyday life to clear your mind. She is well informed of her subject, supported by a solid knowledge of the science. Her approach was catered to me as an individual and was an important aspect of helping me to structure and process my workload”. - D.O.

”I would like to say thank you for helping me during our 3 sessions we had. I found them really helpful especially the breathing technique using my hand, which I use at work. I found the sessions relaxing and very calming, as your friendly and bubbly personality came across, which helped me during the sessions and I would recommend you to others.” - C.T.

“I can’t recommend Anastasia enough. In the short time I have been working with Anastasia I have seen big results and looking forward how my life changes for the better.” - L.S.

”Anastasia, thank you for your time over the last few weeks. For the short time I had, speaking with you was very helpful. As you know, I am not a a man to open up easily, and never have been, especially to a complete stranger, and will never be one to go in for the ‘hippy dippy’ meditating. However, you put me at ease and just talking to you about normal things helped me as you put things into perspective. I prefer the no-nonsense approach, and you are obviously good at both. I would highly recommend you to any friend in need. “. - D.T.
