About me
I offer a friendly and professional environment for clients to resolve a range of issues from addictions, stress and anxiety, confidence and self esteem, inner child work, insomnia, smoking, fears and phobias, negative thoughts and many more by using the best available techniques.
My personal journey through many experiences and teachings has led me to the understanding that each individual has the natural ability to heal and resolve and create a balance with clarity and harmony. I believe people have many imbalances be it physical, emotional or spiritual in their lives and believe each individual can resolve and heal what troubles them by themselves and my role is to facilitate the process in a more direct and focussed way and I always deliver 100%.
I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life and offer a confidential and safe environment. I will help you to overcome the things that stand between you and your goals and tailor the session/s according to your needs and will help you resolve your issues as quickly and as safely as possible.

Training, qualifications & experience
Lorraine is a qualified Hypnotherapist with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis together with a qualification in hypnosis and (HDP) Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma MNCH (Reg.) and has a qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body - Level 2 - Together with Counselling Skills - European Qualifications Framework Level 3. Lorraine also has qualifications for Stress and Mental Health, Diploma in Weight Reduction NLP training, Child Development and Teaching Certificates in the Lifelong Learning Centre. Lorraine has attended Workshops for Emotional Freedom Techniques, Effective Pain Management, Trauma the Brain and Recovery. Lorraine is also a Member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy Professional Body, a Member of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council and a Member of The Federation of Holistic Therapies. Lorraine is fully Insured with Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance and has a valid DBS Certificate.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
