About me
I offer professional expertise in a warm and relaxed setting, using a range of psychotherapy techniques including hypnotherapy and specialist trauma interventions such as Integrated Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), known as “tapping therapy”. I base my approach on your individual needs so that your therapy is always tailored to you. This makes it much more likely that it will bring you the results you seek.
I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma in their lives, including people with PTSD. Symptoms of trauma are wide and can vary from flashbacks and nightmares to anxiety, depression, addictive behaviours and phobias. I will work with you to heal your trauma and reduce or end your symptoms.
I also offer hypnotherapy combined with counselling and coaching techniques to help with:
Bereavement and loss
Pain management
Personal growth
Relationship issues
Sleep problems
Stopping smoking and other unhelpful habits
Weight management
No list is ever complete – please contact me if your particular need is not listed here and you would like to discuss how I could help.
Appointments times can be arranged to suit you.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Further information
Both hypnotherapy and psychotherapy have long traditions of helping people overcome issues and take control of their lives. Yet, both also have their limitations. A common criticism for psychotherapy is that it falls into “paralysis by analysis”, where years of expensive therapy result in slow progress.
Hypnotherapy on the other hand has often brought impressive changes in a very short time, but the generic “scripts” used constitute an “one-size-fits-all” solution. I believe that, through the use of bespoke, personalised hypno-psychotherapy, I can offer the best of both worlds.
Quite literally, hypno-psychotherapy can allow you to “change your mind” so that you can change habits and behaviours that trouble you, reduce stress and anxiety and become the person that you truly want to be.
