About me

I am a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in transitional  life events for all genders .     

Whatever the issue I work with your mindset unconscious mind. I am passionate about ensuring everyone has their best vibrant life without unnecessary suffering of anxiety, unhealthy coping mechanisms or behaviours or low self esteem. 

I  feel strongly that everyone should be taught about the power of their subconscious , how to gain emotional well-being to allow self regulation and self esteem without resorting to unhealthy coping mechanisms or suffering . 

And for those already there , all is not lost - each session is geared towards helping you achieve your desired outcome - I have a plethora of proven clinical techniques and methods to get you back to living your best life quickly. 

I am a sober, single parent of three young adults , I have multiple lived experiences of redundancy, menopause , ND , coping mechanisms, LGBTQA+ and self identity following divorce. 

 I am a certified Menopause Wellbeing Practitioner and support partners and family members of those going through the perimenopause. 

I am also certified , insured and qualified in EFT , NLP, Life Coaching, Mental Health First Aid Supervisor and  emotional well-being coaching for all ages with specialist training for teenagers and young adults. 

As a member of the professional standards CHNC you can be assured of my commitment to through regular continuous professional development . I also have Safeguarding Certification in place alongside my Disclosure Scotland. 

I run private therapy clinics for 1-1 sessions , family sessions, community and corporate classes/programs and workshops. 

I offer evening and weekend appointments.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
