About me

I'm an experienced Clinical hypnotherapist, well-being and recognised international parenting coach who is passionate about working with children, teenagers and caregivers. I believe in investing time and energy into children and caregivers now so they don't need further help in the future.

Each young person is an individual and I am able to adapt my therapeutic approach depending on their age, personality, clinical diagnosis and challenges. I am able to draw on different modalities and my professional expertise so the young person has a rewarding, positive experience and outcome.

Each child is different but some of the initial challenges caregivers mention are:

  • low confidence
  • anxiety
  • anger
  • difficulty within school
  • self-harm
  • low energy / motivation
  • behaviours that challenge
  • challenges with neurodivergent young people

Through working with your child my hope is that your child will come away with:

  • feeling of empowerment
  • increased resilience
  • increased self-esteem / confidence
  • understanding of their choices
  • positive coping strategies
  • effective strategies for self-regulating feelings / emotions

Why consider hypnotherapy?

Children are naturally receptive to hypnotherapy, they are used to absorbing stories and using their imagination.

It can be helpful for children who may have experienced traumatic events as they don't need to revisit these, hypnotherapy can help them focus on and connect with a positive future.

Working with younger children is very relaxed involving play and fun.

I see the potential in each child or teen I work with and adapt each session to their specific needs. I will be looking for your child's strengths and helping them build on those.

Working with children

I have over 25 years experience working with children and young people, within therapeutic environments who have experienced different life experiences, challenges and backgrounds. I have spent time working with young people who have been involved in Child Criminal Exploitation, Child Sexual Exploitation, those with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Conduct Disorders and those with Learning Differences and poor mental health.

Working with caregivers

I work with Social Services, delivering parenting sessions to families on the edge of care or a court order is put in place to attend my parenting sessions.

My work has seen me recognised and sought after internationally as a parenting coach, delivering advice, guidance and practical solutions which work.

Working as a Clinical Hypnotherapist

I hold 8 years of experience as a clinical hypnotherapist, covering a wide range of modalities. However, due to my working knowledge and background my specialist area is with young people and families, where I am able to quickly build a rapport and connection, ensuring a relaxed environment.
