My name is Maria Rocha,

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist in Clinical, Transpersonal and Regressive Hypnosis accredited by International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
I am also a Counsellor and Supervisor, Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My approach is Integrative as I work with a wide range of techniques from different approaches from Gestalt, Humanistic, Archetypal, Existential, Jungian, Psychodynamic and Developmental psychologies to best help my clients.
In this way, I will be able to help you to understand what is happening right now in your life, trace it back to the root that caused the pain, to heal what needs to be healed, to then help you strengthen your sense of identity so you will be in charge and in control of your own life - physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
The International Hypnotherapy Association is one of the leading organisations supporting hypnotherapists in practice.
