Jo Clark Hypnotherapy
As an integrative hypnotherapist I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions that help the change process, and my aim is to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental environment with the sole intention of helping you to resolution and recovery, as quickly and easily as possible. The integrative approach I use involves a combination of Psychotherapy, Hypnosis, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which tackle the issue from every angle. Learning to relax (Hypnosis), challenging negative thinking (CBT) and creating behavioural change (NLP).
In the last 10 years I have had the opportunity to help many clients with a variety of presenting problems. Many are coming for help with Anxiety and stress related issues and the change that occurs within two or three sessions is quite profound and incredibly rewarding. Some come because they want to overcome addiction or habits that restrict and limit their lives, some because they feel they have nowhere else to go. I believe I have the knowledge, skills and experience to help clients overcome their difficulties and facilitate the necessary change, by empowering them to access the inner resources that exist within us all. I practice from my dedicated Therapy room in Great Baddow.
I also run group programmes for Assertiveness Support and Anxiety or fear based conditions, for people who feel they would benefit from a group setting. please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am also an accredited Master Life-Coach with the iAPC&M, which allows me to offer support for those who want to improve themselves personally or professionally.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with Contemporary College of Therapeutic Studies to Advanced Diploma level and gained my Diploma in 2006. I also studied NLP and Master NLP and gained my Practitioners certificate 2007.
I was a Senior Tutor at CCTS for 4 years and now work with my colleague John Mill running Evolve Hypnotherapy College. We offer our Elite Life-Coach Training with Hypnotherapy Skills, at Birkbeck University, accredited by The IAPC&M training people to become skilled therapeutic Coaches. I gained my Master Life Coach acrreditation in June 2016 and we are due to launch our Hypnotherapy Diploma training later this year.
Closer to home I love to run Assertiveness workshops, Anxiety and Stress Management programmes and will soon be launching an Addictions Programme.
In light of the Coronavirus Pandemic more and more clients are needing online support, which works surprisingly well via Zoom, Facetime or Skype.
I also work with a colleague from Emotionally Fearless Lifecoaching and together we have been running Anxiety Management Group Therapy programmes to support people during this difficult time.

Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
