About me

Relief from Traumatic Memories, Fears and Phobias

As a trauma-informed Hypnotherapist and Therapeutic Coach, I use two of the most powerful and effective techniques proven to release you from intrusive distressing memories, images and thoughts associated with  trauma, fears and phobias.

The Rewind Trauma Technique as developed by Dr David Muss, and Brain-working Recursive Therapy or BWRT developed by Terence Watts, both techniques can release you from distress rapidly, and for most people, permanently.

BWRT and The Rewind Trauma Technique are models of psychotherapy that use the the latest findings in neuroscience. Through guided imagery they reorganise the brains natural states to create lasting change. Both methods have been tried, tested and proven to alleviate a wide range of issues such as:

  • Procrastination
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Confidence & Self-esteem
  • Commitment Anxiety
  • Fears and Phobias
  • Success Inhibition
  • Fear of Failure
  • Performance Anxiety
  • Self-worth and Confidence Issues
  • Fear of Authority
  • Relationship issues
  • PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
  • PDSD (Prolonged Duress Stress Disorder or complex PTSD)
  • Complex Grief

About me:

I have an MA in Clinical Counselling from the University of Chester, and I have worked as a counsellor for a number of years in an NHS Talking Therapy Service. I am a qualified and experienced Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist, a Fusion Integrative Therapeutic Coach, a Rewind Trauma Therapy Practitioner, a Brainworking Recursive Therapy, (BWRT) Practitioner and an Alternative Therapy for Autistic Adults, (ATAA), Coach.

My work:

I have helped people that have experienced, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, physical assault, coercive controlling relationships and birth trauma. I have also helped people that survived a fatal incident, witness a fatal car crash, and witnessed someone take their own life. Trauma can negatively impact every aspect of your life if not treated and processed.

How I work:

My therapy is personal to you, I listen with the aim of understanding how your experiences impact your life, without making assumptions or trying to fit you into a formula. I am an interactive therapist, I will be in there with you, without getting in the way of your thoughts, processes, and insights. You will feel supported and held by me as your confident companion through the more painful aspects of the therapeutic process. I will be your ally, as you connect with feelings you may have been avoiding or experiences you may have felt too difficult to explore or examine on your own.
