About me
Do you need effective help for anxiety, panic, fear or phobia, past trauma, or current relationship?
I am a Senior Registered Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Counsellor based in Swindon specialising in anxiety disorders, OCD, relationships and attachment. I also work with trauma, depression, psychosexual difficulties, psychosomatic illness, and most other types of emotional or psychological symptoms.
My special interest in anxiety disorders, obsessional states and depression, stems partly from personal experience. My second area of interest in relationships and attachment encompasses the majority of distressing emotional states, as well as psychosexual problems.
I am known for my caring professional approach to my clients, as well as my experience and expertise. In all I have over 25 years experience, including around 10,000 client treatment sessions since starting my Swindon practice in 2004.
Therapies include: hypnoanalysis, regression, solution-focused therapy, CBT, suggestion hypnothrerapy, NLP, BWRT, attachment focused counselling, couple counselling, sexual counselling, as well as general counselling and advice. All treatments are based on proper research, or a good track record of success over the past century of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.
Hypnosis or hypnotherapy especially provides a gateway to the subconscious, which is why it can be so effective.
My background is psychology and mental health. After graduating with honours in psychology I was fortunate enough to attend two of the most successful hypnotherapy schools in the UK: Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis; and Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training in Bristol.
I followed this up with extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and Anxiety Specialty certification. After this I trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (for couples), attachment styles and disorders, relational trauma and personality disorders.
If you are looking for a safe way to resolve anxiety or other psychological problems, the combined use of hypnotherapy with counselling and other 'talking therapies' is second to none. I can provide the safe and supportive space necessary for you to resolve you problems and reach your goals.
I can work with you either online or from professional premises near the Outlet Village in Swindon, within easy reach by bus or train, with free parking available.
