About me

Hello and welcome to my page.

I'm Catherine and I've got 10 years of experience of helping my clients deal with difficulties in their lives, achieve changes and move forward to enjoy life as they'd like it to be.

I work with a variety of clients on a number of issues that they feel ready to work through as well as having a special interest in women's reproductive health so whether you’re feeling out of balance, disconnected or lost in some way either because you’re going through some difficulties in your life or you’re struggling with feeling stuck, stressed and emotional due to fertility problems, anxiety during pregnancy, want to know more about how to feel calm, confident and in control with Hypnobirthing, feeling guilty, angry or frustrated because of your birth trauma or suffering with hot flushes, loss of confidence and a sense of panic through the menopause, then I’m here to help.

I recognise that women can undergo different feelings at different times in their lives, not all due to hormone related feelings but some very much so.  The menopause can be a strange business which some women seem to breeze through while others seem to get no end of symptoms. The same can be said for conception, pregnancy and giving birth.  Equally, for some women, feeling overwhelmed with the busyness of their lives and coping with events such as relationship problems, work expectations and trying to manage the difficulties of coping with family life work and ageing parents with no time for yourself can leave you feeling like you’re running on empty. I understand how that feels.

My experience also extends to other difficulties that my clients experience so if you're not sure if I can help, then please do get in touch.

If you want to feel differently; want to get some of your old spark back, feel in control of your life and your emotions, find confidence, manage your doubt, your panicky moments and feel like you’re back in the driving seat again, then the good news is there is help and it can get better.

There are elements of life that we can’t stop, but that doesn’t mean that you have to live with and cope with the consequences of them.

I want you to know that you’re not alone in feeling this way. How do I know? Because I’ve helped many clients just like you who are struggling and the good news is, that I can help you too!

I can help you to release the negative thoughts and feelings that are keeping you feeling stuck, remind you of everything that you have to offer and get your life back in balance.  I can teach you ways of managing your stress, help you to feel more in control of your anxiety and feel calm, reconnected to life and feel at peace and confident that you can deal with life’s challenges.  Now, I'm not offering you a magic wand but I can offer you my toolkit of support, knowledge and experience to help you get your spark back and feel more like you.

Using a variety of tools including hypnotherapy, I can help you to:

  • Release negative emotions
  • Get your mind and body working together (including managing physical symptoms such as pain)
  • Support you in a number of ways surrounding fertility problems
  • Enjoy your pregnancy
  • Manage your hot flushes
  • Feel more in control of your anxiety or worries
  • Overcome your fears and phobias
  • Help you to cope with panic attacks
  • Tackle weight gain
  • Reduce, remove or manage your old pain
  • Manage your low mood
  • Build your confidence and self-belief
  • Come to terms with and celebrate changes in your life
  • Improve your sleep patterns
  • Feel more in balance
  • Appreciate who you are and what you CAN do!

If you’ve never experienced hypnotherapy before or if you’re wondering if it will work for you then please don’t worry, it is very much a natural state which, instead of waiting for your mind to drift into, I guide you into that lovely relaxed state and that’s where all those lovely changes take place.  It really is an amazing tool (plus I'll be incorporating other things as well), all you need to do is close your eyes and breathe and it will already be working and helping you make those changes you desperately want to make.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to have a chat about how you're feeling and how I can help.  This helps to give you an understanding of how I work and choose the best form of therapy for you.

I offer various therapies and you don’t need to know what would be the best way forward for you, we work on what you need and create the best plan for you.

Counselling sessions are £50 per session.

For some people, counselling; talking through how you feel and finding your own solutions, is the right way forward.  These sessions are on an individual basis as the number of sessions varies for each person.
