Do you ever feel like your life is out of balance for some reason? It could be that you feel you've lost yourself in your busy life of putting everyone else first or perhaps work is taking over and even when you're not at work, it's creeping into your home life in so many ways. Perhaps you're a busy mum who is too tired to think about herself anymore because your days are filled with a list of things to do that never gets finished or you're feeling like the world is changing around you and you're losing confidence in what you're really capable of.
Perhaps your greatest desire is to have a baby but it's just not happening and you have no idea why. You've been checked out medically and there are no obvious answers but that doesn't help because you're now struggling to work out what's stopping the most natural process in the world.
Pregnancy can be a mixed bag of emotions and some women absolutely love every moment but for some, it brings anxiety, fear and a feeling of overwhelm which is so hard to talk about because everyone around you assumes that you're enjoying every moment.

Birth can be a mixed bag of emotions for many new parents and it doesn't always happen as you'd have liked or intended. Maybe you feel a sense of anger, guilt, frustration, loss (of the birth you planned) or fear of considering another pregnancy and having the same experience.
Parenting can also be daunting and many parents feel like they're struggling to get it right. If that's you, you're not alone.
And when you come to the end of your reproductive journey, it can bring far more symptoms to deal with than hot flushes. The menopause is different for every woman and some will hardly notice anything other than the cessation of their periods while others will feel like their life has changed completely. Anxiety, low mood, loss of confidence, difficulties with sleep, weight gain, the loss of libido and a number of other symptoms are the changes that are less commonly talked about but for the women who experience them, they can be life changing.
I am passionate about helping women to enjoy their life, feel confident in their own skin, find their spark and fulfil their potential. I love supporting women through their life changes at every stage and if you're experiencing problems at any stage, then I'd really like to help.
Hypnotherapy is an amazing tool to help you reconnect with the person you're ready to be. This doesn't mean that it will solve the problem for you, it allows you to release old beliefs that are no longer relevant, helps you to understand why you've felt that way, enables you to make those changes and feel at peace with yourself. The result is that you are able to release negative thoughts, feelings and emotions, feel more in control in how you live your life and feel more positive about what the future has to offer so whether it's feeling anxious, you have a fear that is stopping you enjoying life, lacking in confidence, want to make some changes to enhance your health, you're dealing with stress or whatever it is that is holding you back right now, then we can work through it together and leave you feeling like you've got your spark back.

It really is an amazing tool (plus I'll be incorporating other things as well), all you need to do is close your eyes and breathe and it will already be working and helping you make those changes you desperately want to make.

I am a Professional Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS) and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (MNCS(Acc)).
I also have over 27 years of nursing and midwifery experience of which 10 years are specifically in a maternity setting offering emotional as well as clinical support to the women in my care.
National Hypnotherapy Society
The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to have a chat about how you're feeling and how I can help. This helps to give you an understanding of how I work and choose the best form of therapy for you.
I offer various therapies and you don’t need to know what would be the best way forward for you, we work on what you need and create the best plan for you.
1 Hour Hypnotherapy session £75
I find that the majority of my clients respond well to 3 sessions of working together. My 3 session package is £210. Some clients may require fewer or more sessions and I can explain the pricing accordingly.
Counselling sessions are £50 per session.
For some people, counselling; talking through how you feel and finding your own solutions, is the right way forward. These sessions are on an individual basis as the number of sessions varies for each person.
I offer a range of both day and evening appointments including Saturday mornings. Please get in touch for more information.
My Practice is based in Lower Earley, Reading with easy access from M4 and A329(M). Parking is available outside my house. I am also on the 21 bus route from Reading.
