Women can undergo different feelings at different times in their lives, not all due to hormone related feelings but some very much so. The menopause can be a strange business which some women seem to breeze through while others seem to get no end of symptoms. The same can be said for conception, pregnancy and giving birth. Equally, for some women, feeling overwhelmed with the busyness of their lives and coping with events such as relationship problems, work expectations and trying to manage the difficulties of coping with family life work and ageing parents with no time for yourself can leave you feeling like you’re running on empty. I understand how that feels.
It could be that you’re just starting to experience some difficulties or it might be that you are feeling completely overwhelmed and trying to deal with them for a while. Physical and emotional symptoms are perhaps leaving you feeling panicky, perhaps a bit (or very) low, affecting your sleep and various other problems.
You have no idea how long these feelings will last, whether they will get better or even worse. You don't know if it's normal or something to be worried about. It all feels overwhelming and you just want to feel like you again.
You may even be worried that this is how life will be from now on.
Perhaps these difficulties are now affecting your work, your family life and your relationships. They may even change how you feel as a woman, a mother, a wife/partner/girlfriend or a friend.
You want to feel differently; want to get some of your old spark back, feel in control of your life and your emotions, find that old confidence, manage your doubt, your panicky moments and feel like you’re back in the driving seat again.
Well the good news is there is help and it can get better.
There are elements of life that we can’t stop, but that doesn’t mean that you have to live with and cope with the consequences of them.

It really is an amazing tool (plus I'll be incorporating other things as well), all you need to do is close your eyes and breathe and it will already be working and helping you make those changes you desperately want to make.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to have a chat about how you're feeling and how I can help. This helps to give you an understanding of how I work and choose the best form of therapy for you.
I offer various therapies and you don’t need to know what would be the best way forward for you, we work on what you need and create the best plan for you.
I find that the majority of my clients respond well to 4 sessions of working together. My 4 session package is £280. This can be paid either in a single payment or in 2 instalments of £140.
If I feel that you don’t need 4 sessions, I’ll let you know and explain the pricing accordingly.
For some people, counselling; talking through how you feel and finding your own solutions, is the right way forward. These sessions are on an individual basis as the number of sessions varies for each person. Counselling sessions are £50 per session.
My Practice is based in Lower Earley, Reading with easy access from M4 and A329(M). Parking is available outside my house. I am also on the 21 bus route from Reading.
