Unlock the subconscious: Quit vaping and smoking

Smoking and vaping are not just habits; they are addictive behaviours deeply ingrained in our daily routines and subconscious minds. I have had many clients who have originally stopped smoking but have replaced it with vaping (thinking that it would be less harmful), whereas some clients switch between the two habits in that they stop smoking, take up vaping and then go back to smoking.

I now see more and more doing both: smoking and vaping whereby they smoke when they are able to in public and, if not, they will always have their vape with them. They are all intelligent people. They know that both smoking and vaping are bad for their health and it's an expensive habit but they cannot seem to stop it, which is why they come to see me.

Eliminating the craving for both smoking and vaping involves delving deeper into the subconscious mind to uncover the root cause. Often, attempts to quit these habits without understanding the underlying triggers can feel akin to playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole, where one problem subsides only for another to surface. Recognising the importance of understanding the root cause behind these behaviours is pivotal in paving the way toward effective and lasting cessation strategies.

How can Rapid Transformational Therapy help?

I have had the opportunity to witness remarkable transformations through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), where my clients discovered the hidden reasons behind their vaping or smoking habits.

One of my clients struggled to quit vaping and experienced an 'aha' moment when she linked her childhood belief of abandonment to her reliance on her vape as a source of comfort. It was like her vape had become her security blanket. By understanding this connection, she reframed her thoughts and successfully ceased vaping. As a by-product, she found she had so much energy and more overall happiness in all aspects of her life.

Another individual I worked with, realised that smoking was tied to feelings of inadequacy from childhood and served as a way to feel closer to her late father. Once this connection was made clear through RTT, she began to reduce her dependence on smoking as a means of connecting with her past.

Moreover, RTT has highlighted instances where clients used smoking or vaping as a form of self-punishment, stemming from unresolved guilt or blame from past events. By uncovering these hidden motivations, my clients could reframe their perspectives, freeing themselves from the cycle of addiction.

It's essential to address the root cause of these behaviours initially to avoid a situation where quitting smoking or vaping leads to substituting with another unhealthy habit, such as overeating sweets or cakes. By understanding the underlying triggers, individuals can prevent this 'whack-a-mole' scenario and make meaningful changes that extend beyond just quitting one habit.

The beauty of RTT lies in its effectiveness often in just a single session.

By tapping into the subconscious mind and uncovering these hidden connections, clients experience profound transformations that pave the way for lasting changes. Understanding the root cause behind vaping and smoking is crucial for effective cessation strategies.

RTT offers a powerful tool to uncover these underlying triggers, allowing individuals to break free from addictive behaviours and prevent a cycle of substituting one habit for another. By addressing these root causes, individuals can achieve lasting freedom from cravings and embrace a healthier lifestyle, often with significant transformations occurring in just a single RTT session.

RTT has been a game-changer in helping my clients not only quit smoking or vaping but also in transforming their entire lives. Beyond just kicking the habit, RTT has empowered many of my clients to reframe deep-seated beliefs that some had been holding onto for decades. This profound shift has had a ripple effect, significantly improving various aspects of their lives.
