Change the way you see the world
How old are you?
How many times in an average week, since you were old enough to remember, have you been told that you are stupid, useless, ugly or unworthy – and often by the people who are most important to you: family, friends and loved ones?
Tell someone that they are useless or stupid enough times, they will believe it and may adopt behaviours to reflect this, for example, opting out of doing things because in their own words “I am useless at it” or “I can’t do it; I’ve never been able to do it…” Some people will live all their life in this negative state - feeling inferior, missing out on opportunity after opportunity, but there is good news: it is possible to change!
Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool to help you make positive changes in your life. A skilled therapist will be able to listen to how life is or has been for you and will identify key events in your life and language patterns which have shaped your being. The therapist may use regression techniques to go back in time to address particularly traumatic incidents or may use control room techniques to bring in a more positive mind set. The therapist may also address self-esteem and confidence issues. Don’t be surprised if you get homework too – keeping a record of positive experiences everyday will encourage you to re-evaluate your life; practising colour breathing, where you breath out a negative colour and breath in a positive colour is a common technique. The great thing is that once you start to make those changes to your mind set, a whole new world of opportunity opens up before you. Changing your mind set may be a relatively simple task or may need several sessions depending on many factors, but it is fair to say that you and those around you will start to notice the difference.
Remember the famous saying: "Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t - you’re right!". Hypnotherapy can help you say “I can!”
