About me

Hello there, and a very warm welcome to my profile.
I am a fully qualified, registered and accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist, Counsellor and Psychotherapist and I am able to assist you to improve and change your quality of life right now.......
I offer a warm, relaxed, confidential and welcoming space to help you explore and work through your presenting issues.
I am able to work with clients either in person or online over Zoom. By offering therapy online as well as face to face, I am able to work with clients from all over the world.

I am fully professionally insured.

Aside from being in Practice for many years now, my career to date has involved spending nearly 20 years in the "Sports, Health and Fitness Industry" where I led a very fulfilling, varied and interesting life running a successful business. It was within this industry that my passion for people, their behaviour and psychology developed, as I constantly became more aware of the power of the mind, and how peoples thought patterns would manifest themselves in their performance, behaviour, and actions.
During this time I studied not only psychology but also Neuro-Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.) and first became conscious of how very effective, safe, quick and successful hypnotherapy can be for so many, many different issues, problems and even illness and pain control.
I am passionate about my profession and am totally committed to not only ongoing personal and professional development but also to informing, educating and advice.

I have experienced my own share of personal challenges through life, so I bring a wealth of life and personal experiences to my work, and I can assure you that you will be treated as an individual and your concerns treated with respect in a confidential, caring, and non-judgemental approach.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Member organisations

school Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

CNHC
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

info Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

“Group Weight Loss Online”

These online group programmes run throughout the year and numbers are kept strictly limited, in order to enable sessions to be kept small and personal, and allow all participants to feel relaxed and comfortable.
This means you can be part of the programme from wherever you are in the world, and that you can interact with other participants in a four week supportive programme that will fundamentally change your relationship with food - and excess weight for good!

The programme runs for four weeks with one weekly session online via Zoom lasting approximately one to one and a half hours.

For details on how to book your place on " Group Weight Loss Online", please contact me to enquire about the next course date and availability.
