About me
Hello, my name is Natalie
I specifically work with Dyslexic children, Teenagers and Adults in helping them boost their self esteem and confidence.
Having been diagnosed with Dyslexia at the late age of 16 years I struggled through my schooling and into later adult life. I now focus on supporting the neurodivergent community in building confidence and self worth.
Alongside teaching individuals coping techniques it's essential to also deal with the emotional fall out that comes with diagnosis or the lack of it.
I also work in the following areas:
Anxiety & Confidence Issues
Stress & Burnout
Low Self Esteem
Pain Management
Addiction / OCD / Trauma / Depression / Phobias
I work in the following areas: Godalming, Haslemere and the Surrey Hills area. Please get in touch natalie@nataliediamond.co.uk
How can I help you?
Perhaps you are looking for a change and want to take action?
Do you feel you want to take back control in your life, or are you looking to change self-limiting beliefs and habits which are restricting you?
Maybe you feel you have lost your way…
Perhaps work life has gotten too much and you feel like you are spinning plates.
Anxiety is getting the better of you and holding you back from achieving your potential.
Your self-esteem is at an all-time low. You have always had low confidence linked with Dyslexia.
The good news is! If you are willing to help yourself then I can help you.
We can work together to achieve the best possible outcome for you.
I don’t have control over you, everything we do is self-orchestrated, I use your words and ambitions to direct you back onto the path of positive outcomes.
A little about me
I have spent the last 23 years working in the television broadcast sector as a Production Manager. For anyone that has any insight into my industry you will know, you have to be fully committed, go the extra mile, work long hours and be able to multi task in a high paced demanding environment. It has been a very rewarding career that has seen me travel, work with an array of companies, meet many fantastic colleagues and celebrities. Whilst I have enjoyed working in TV I also enjoy being able to help others help themselves.
My curiosity in therapy led me to attend lectures in NLP with David Shephard in my early 20’s and since then I have reached out to therapy many times to help me navigate complications and find my way both personally and professionally.
More importantly I gained tools to help myself succeed and move away from doubt and this is what I hope to achieve with you.
Of course, everything hasn’t always been plain sailing for me, from a young age the younger me, had to navigate Dyslexia at a time when Dyslexia was not widely recognised. I had no support in my early years which lead to a low confidence. Luckily, later on in higher education, I had assistance from some of the very best therapists and tutors which gave me confidence and determination to get ahead and do well for myself.
My career has been varied and exciting but full of highs and lows. The pressure we place upon ourselves and our performance in the work place tasked with the expectations of the employer can lead to a sense of overwhelm as we juggle personal and family life. In most cases this may lead to stress and ‘burnout’.
This is something I experienced first-hand and without even realising it I had placed myself under pressure I had to step away from my job, I couldn’t function properly and I lost my voice for a period of six months. The good news is, that, with reflection and some therapy I found a new way of working and haven’t looked back since. Desmond Tutu once said " There is only one way to eat an elephant; a bite at a time." Everything in life that is daunting, overwhelming, and even impossible can be gradually accomplished by taking on just a little at a time.
The brain is fascinating and the stories we tell ourselves are even more fascinating. The good news is that each day we have the ability to re-write our story we don’t have to be bound to the shackles of the past. From today, should you choose it, you can be whoever you want to be and free from your problem.
