About me

Hi, I'm Michelle, an anxiety specialist. Whether you are generally anxious, suffer low mood or need help overcoming performance nerves, as a Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist (QCH), I treat you not as the label for your condition, but as the unique individual that you are.

What's different about working with Michelle?

I will never read you 'THE Anxiety Script' because everyone is unique in the way that they do their problem. I will treat you as the individual human being that you are. This means that I don't use one-size-fits-all scripts and instead I 'Wordweave'; using the words you have given me during our sessions, I create a bespoke pattern - YOUR words for YOUR issue - that enables us to communicate directly with your subconscious mind, so that you can find your own pathway to solution in a gentle and effective way.

What my clients say...

"From the moment I sat down with Michelle she made me feel so at ease and comfortable talking about my feelings. During our sessions she has helped me to change my thoughts and behaviour with a relationship that is close to me. The ripple effect this has had is immeasurable - my life and relationships have improved significantly. I'm so thankful Michelle was recommended to me, she's an incredible therapist and I can't thank her enough." Sarah, aged 36

How can Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy help me?

Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to be highly effective in overcoming anxiety and depression. I work with my clients on a variety of issues: low mood; low self-esteem; anxiety; trauma; self-sabotaging behaviours and much more; whilst helping you to re-programme limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns. Together, we work using tools from NLP, Positive Psychology, CBT and Applied EMDR, to let go of those negative thoughts and emotions that are holding you back.

What my clients say...

"Michelle is a phenomenal therapist and has a calming presence which made me feel immediately comfortable to open up and be vulnerable. I really felt like Michelle wanted what was best for me and joined me on my journey to feeling better within myself. The techniques she used were really powerful and it was incredible how we could get to the root of my problem so quickly. In no time at all I could really notice that my overall wellbeing was improving. Michelle has a way with words and the recordings she sent me to listen to in between sessions were so helpful. I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a therapist." Matt, aged 36.

Empower Yourself For Life!

I work with adults and children therapeutically and for personal development, empowering my clients to create what they want in life. So, whether you are looking to create freedom, feel calmer, or have peace and quiet inside of your own mind, I can help you to get back in tune with your true nature.

Clients that I have worked with report improvements in other areas of their life, not just the area they worked on. This is because 'knowledge is power'.  You will leave sessions knowing that you have tools that you can use for life, now and in the future.

Specialist Expertise

I have expertise in performance (musician specialist) and business. I offer individual coaching sessions and programmes, as well as courses on wellbeing; how to develop a positive mindset, happiness habits and performance mindset, which are also available for groups.

"I had an online session with Michelle to work on performance anxiety in advance of a solo violin performance. I have to admit that I was somewhat sceptical about hypnotherapy and I didn’t really know what to expect. What struck me was how natural and easy the session felt; Michelle’s calm and positive manner instantly put me at ease and I found it easy to visualise the successful performance that I was hoping to achieve. The whole experience felt at once deeply relaxing and uplifting, and as we ended the session I felt a real sense of calm. That said, I had no expectation of there being any lasting effects. However, a few days later when I performed in the concert, I genuinely felt the most relaxed and focused that I have ever felt in a performance, able to enjoy it and feel completely myself. It was almost eerie! Not only that, the visualisation techniques that Michelle guided have served me in many situations since, not just musical. I would wholeheartedly recommend Michelle as a coach; she is entirely focused on you as a whole person and has a wonderfully reassuring positive energy." Rachel, age 43
