About me
I am a Solution Focussed Hypnotherapist, having qualified in 2019 with CPHT and based in Peterborough. I offer face to face appointments in a therapy room within my home in Werrington, and via Zoom.
I absolutely love helping clients understand how their brain works and working with them to live a calmer life.
Do you struggle with life- do you feel overwhelmed but can't put your finger on why? I can help with anxiety, depression and feelings of being overwhelmed by life or work. Would you love to be able to fly far away on holiday but fear of flying stops you? Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can be very successful for overcoming phobias such as flying, heights or driving. I was a qualified dental nurse for over 25 years so can also help with dental phobias and needle phobias.
Whilst we cannot cure illness, I can help you live a better life by helping you deal with a diagnosis and look forward as well as offering calming techniques for you to use daily and strategies for pain management.
I am also a Samaritans volunteer so am empathic and non judgemental and hold a full DBS certificate. I'm passionate about how awesome the power of positivity can allow clients to move forward and offer a completely free initial consultation as I believe that helping you understand how your fears and worries are created is empowering.
I believe that each client is an individual so am flexible in my approach, allowing us to work together to achieve a very positive outcome.
In 2023, I was a finalist in the Peterborough Small Business Awards, having been nominated and recognised for my "outstanding customer care". I have also been recognised in the 2024 Business Elite Awards as " Best Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Practice 2024-Peterborough".
I regularly attend Ongoing Continuing Professional Development courses to ensure I am up to date with training and new subjects and attend regular supervision sessions so I can be reassured I am offering the very best possible therapy.

I worked with staff at Thomas Cook head office in Peterborough, initialling offering relaxation sessions but when the company collapsed. I offered more support and was paid by the liquidators to provide weekly sessions as staff reported feeling more positive and less anxious about their future. I have also given talks to organisations, including to staff at a local dental surgery which included a trance demonstration which was very well received.
