About me
I help adults, children and young people manage anxiety, build confidence, improve self-esteem and create meaningful, lasting change.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), which combines practical cognitive techniques with hypnosis. This approach helps you understand the thoughts, emotions and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck, while giving you tools to move forward in a calmer, more confident and empowered way.
People often come to me when they are struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, overthinking, low confidence, poor sleep, stress, phobias, habits, IBS, menopause symptoms, Tourette’s, or the emotional impact of difficult life experiences. Every client is different, so I tailor sessions to you as an individual rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach.
I work with both adults and children, offering face-to-face sessions as well as online therapy. Online sessions allow me to support clients across the country and abroad, making therapy more accessible, flexible and convenient.
One of my greatest passions is working with children and young people, especially around confidence, self-esteem and resilience. In today’s world, many children are labelled in ways that can feel limiting. I don’t work with labels, I work with individuals. Rather than focusing on what is “wrong”, I help children and adults make sense of their experiences, understand their emotions and develop healthier thought patterns that support their wellbeing.
My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth and practical. I believe therapy should help you feel more in control, not more dependent. My aim is to give you the tools, understanding and confidence to become your own therapist, so you can continue supporting yourself long after our sessions have ended.
Alongside my one-to-one therapy work, I also run CPD-approved workshops and courses on Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and Mental Health. These are suitable for anyone wanting to understand how CBH works, either for personal development or professional interest.
If you are ready to make a change, I would love to help you take that first step.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I have experience with food and therapy and have brought the two together. I work with a local charity and I use food and cognitive tools to help the children with their confidence. This has been an extremely successful program, the children are in complete control which helps them build confidence, it also encourages them to eat, taste and make their own healthy snacks. All too often in life we use food as a coping mechanism when we have experienced some kind of trauma, this can develop into a negative relationship with food. This is why I encouraged the children to enjoy food, try new things and do it in groups as it's inclusive and helps them participate with others.

Further information
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, I work with adults and children. With my adult clients we work together using Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. This is a goal focused therapy and we work together to help them achieve their goals and maintain these after our sessions have finished. I teach relapse prevention but I am here should my clients need reassurance. My clients will develop the tools they need to continue to maintain their goals.
Working with children is different to working with adults, therefore, understanding the differences is key to achieving results. Building a trust relationship is developed by using different cognitive tools. I work with a local charity offering healthy eating workshops, this encourages children to try new things and also helps with their confidence in challenging themselves to get involved.
I decided to become a therapist as I genuinely love helping people. When my clients achieve their goals, it is the most rewarding experience both for them and myself. When I see this time after time, I know I am doing the right thing. Working together to help clients achieve their desired outcome is amazing!
