About me

I have an advanced diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and use this as well as a combination of other techniques including NLP and CBT. I support clients for a range of issues including anxiety and insomnia, PTSD, inner child healing, emotional eating, trichotillomania (BFRB) and weight loss. I am qualified to support adults as well as children from 5 years old.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy which I was awarded with after my GQCH (initial Clinical Hypnotherapy Diploma).

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a modern approach based on the latest scientific research, including neuroscience. I hold a degree in psychology and have been studying the brain for years.

I have a diploma in yoga therapy which is when I first became interested in trauma and inner child healing. After qualifying a a hypnotherapist, I went on to gain further qualifications in trauma and PTSD which has allowed me to support clients through life changing experiences.

I have achieved further qualification in children and adolescent hypnotherapy and I am now happy to offer my services to anyone from 5 years and older.

Prior to hypnotherapy, I worked as a Primary School Teacher for many years. Part of my role here was to support new teachers into the profession and mentor them long-term to enjoy a successful teaching career.

Member organisations

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I support people who comfort eat and want to develop a better relationship with food. I frequently combine this with inner child healing and find the root of the issue for lasting, meaningful change.
