About me

Lighthouse Therapy was formed in response to working in Education for over 20 years and witnessing the increasing demand on mental health and wellbeing, whatever age.

I offer a mix of Hypnotherapy, Trauma-Informed practice, Art, Music and Play therapy. Giving a safe space for those who come, to release stuck emotions, held energies and unhealed trauma. These are held in the physical body, through symptoms such as migraines or anxiety, depression and chronic disease.

Mental health awareness has risen, but there are not enough resources to cover the needs of our communities. Waiting lists for autism, ADHD diagnosis’ and CAMHs are increasingly lengthy, underfunded and understaffed.

My independent service, without the constraints of institutional red tape, provides a speedier, client-led, individualised programme of treatment sessions. Hypnotherapy allows the subconscious to heal any hidden traumas or unreleased emotions, whilst not having to relive these through ongoing talking or pro-longed interventions. This unique, bespoke service heals the root causes of anxieties and depression, allowing room for positive joy, peace and tranquility to enter. I work with ages 7 upwards, online or in person.

I support with anxiety, depression, feelings of unworthiness or loneliness, fears, phobias, addictions (including smoking cessation), emotional overwhelm and unhealed trauma or past hurt. Using the transformational and rapid techniques of cutting-edge Hypnotherapy, NLP and Energy work, I support my clients to release unhelpful held beliefs, and programming, in order to move forwards towards self-compassion, with the empowering freedom which comes from living their life to the full.

I am person-centred and client-led, and my sessions can be adapted to suit individual needs, including age, emotional literacy, additional physical needs and neurodivergence.

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Further information

I have a passion to provide readily accessible mental health support to those who need it; I have experienced first-hand the amazing transformational effect of hypnotherapy and NLP/Energy work, through having my own breakdown and breakthrough in the past year. I love working alongside my clients and seeing the growth in self-compassion and release of held beliefs which have not served them, in order for new energies and positive beliefs to dwell within.
