About me

David is a Senior Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 20 years experience of hypnotherapy. He specialises in stress & anxiety, fears & phobias, weight loss, habits, emotional problems, OCD and addiction.

David is one of the UK’s leading clinical hypnotherapists. He has achieved this status through his experience, masters level qualifications and sustained success rate. The outcomes of his therapy were assessed from January to March 2019 and his success rate was found to be 95%.

David is a co-founder of The Hypnotherapy Practice, where the advanced techniques of analytical and curative hypnotherapy are practiced. These more advanced techniques are distinguishable from other forms of hypnotherapy in that they achieve a permanent resolution to a patient’s condition.

David suffered from a range of problems anxiety, fears and addiction and made a full recovery through hypnotherapy. This experience led him to helping others and to setting up The Hypnotherapy Practice. Due to his experience and understanding of hypnotherapy David is often referred to by other therapists with patients with more resistant problems.

After gaining an MSc from Leeds University in the 1990s David has applied his scientific knowledge and understanding to help develop hypnotherapy theory and practice. He is a leading figure in the field of hypnotherapy and now, when not writing or training, sees patients from across the UK.

Issues Treated

David specialises in the areas mentioned above but is experienced in treating the full range of conditions treatable with hypnotherapy, these are listed on the 'complete list' page of The Hypnotherapy Practice website which is linked at the top of the page.
