About me

Hi, I'm Will .  I have more than 25 years experience working within the mental health care system.  Working with adults, adolescents and children presenting with a range of mental and emotional issues, I specialise in working with anxiety and low mood.

I know, first hand, the pressures of work whilst juggling a busy personal life - with all the other little stressors along the way!  I was introduced to hypnotherapy following a period of chronic stress and burnout. I was amazed at how quickly and effective it was in addressing my symptoms.  It resulted in a fascination for the subject and a decision to train as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist myself. I specialise in supporting clients with a range of anxiety-based problems and /or low mood as well as a range of other issues.  I'm passionate about this  highly effective form of therapy.  This, along with the reported satisfaction of my clients, continues to inspire me.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified and accredited Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.

As a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), I abide by their professional and ethical codes of Conduct.

I've worked as a mental health practitioner in a variety of roles, for over 25 years.  I currently work as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, in a busy inner-city mental health centre.

Professional qualifications: BSc (Hons), RMN, PGCE, PGDip (CBT), HPD, DSFH

Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH)

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public.
