About me

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by anxiety, habits, fears, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve you? Perhaps you know what you want to change, but despite your best efforts, something keeps pulling you back.

I work with young adults, adults and couples who are ready for meaningful, lasting change and want support that goes deeper than surface-level techniques.

I am an award-winning therapist, named Community Health & Wellbeing Impact Winner at the Business Awards UK 2026, recognising the impact of my work supporting mental health, wellbeing and positive change within my community.

With over 14 years’ experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I specialise in helping clients with anxiety (including health anxiety), stress, phobias, fear of flying, stop smoking, weight loss and weight management, eating disorders, addictions, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), pain management, low self-esteem and confidence.

Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people seek my support and an area in which I have extensive clinical experience. I also work with more complex or long-standing patterns where anxiety, trauma, unwanted behaviours, emotional responses or previous experiences may be contributing to the problem.

My approach is integrative and evidence-informed, drawing primarily on Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Hypno-psychotherapy and Ericksonian Hypnosis. Where appropriate, I also integrate counselling skills, EMDR-informed techniques, EFT, NLP and trauma-aware approaches. This allows therapy to be tailored to you as a whole person, rather than focusing solely on a symptom or diagnosis.

Clients often tell me they value the balance I offer between compassionate understanding and focused, structured work. Sessions are collaborative, respectful and paced to suit your needs, with the aim of helping you feel clearer, calmer and more in control as quickly and safely as possible. Many clients experience significant shifts within a relatively small number of sessions.

My professional focus is on helping you:

Reduce anxiety and stress responses
Break unwanted habits and behaviours
Resolve phobias, fears and fear of flying
Stop smoking and address the emotional and behavioural patterns associated with smoking
Work with addictions and unwanted urges
Develop a healthier relationship with food, eating and weight
Improve confidence and low self-esteem
Manage pain, IBS and psychosomatic symptoms
Understand and change patterns that may be rooted in previous experiences
Above all, my aim is not simply to help you manage a symptom, but to understand what may be driving it and help you create meaningful, lasting change.

If you are considering hypnotherapy and would like to explore whether we are a good fit, I welcome you to get in touch.
