Working online with my clients is something I have always done, so you can feel reassured that I am confident and experienced at offering therapy this way. Please do call should you have any questions at all about how online therapy works. I am happy to answer any technical questions you may have too.
What exactly is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, natural way of finding relief from many symptoms. Please do contact me if you are hesitant about trying hypnotherapy or wish to find out exactly how hypnotherapy works and how it can help you. I am very happy to have an initial chat to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
How can I help you?
~ Anxiety ~ Panic attacks ~ Fears and Phobias ~ Depression ~ Stress ~ Low Self-esteem and Confidence ~ Anger Management ~ Addictions ~ PTSD ~ Eating Disorders
These are just some of the issues that can be looked at during therapy. I work with my clients to help them make positive and lasting changes to their lives.
Sometimes people cannot put their finger on what is troubling them. They just do not feel right but know that they need support and guidance. Please do call or email even if you are finding it difficult to describe how you are feeling. We can work through your next steps together, at your own pace.
I am fully accredited, registered and insured.
I believe that we all have within us the ability to make positive change in times of personal crisis. Embarking on a therapeutic journey creates a stronger sense of self and the increased confidence to embrace true personal growth. The therapy I offer is very much client-centred and personally tailored.
Analytical hypnotherapy is a psychodynamic technique used to nurture and improve emotional wellbeing, bringing a sense of empowerment and positivity. Together we will look at what is triggering any unhelpful, unwanted emotions.
I see clients in my dedicated therapy room which is in a stunning converted barn situated in the Kent countryside. The space feels incredibly peaceful, safe and nurturing. I also work from the Holistic Centre just outside Canterbury City Centre.
I am easily accessible from Maidstone, Ashford, Faversham and Canterbury. Skype, Zoom or Facetime appointments can also be arranged if this is more convenient. I also offer concessions for those studying full time or on a low income.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
