About me
I am an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Metabolic Nutritional Coach for Type 2 Diabetic remission. I am passionate about helping people to change their mindset, lifestyle, diet, thoughts and behaviours. I strive to continue my professional development.
My practice has naturally become focused upon Weight Loss, Anxiety & Self Esteem. This focus is where my passion sits, helping my clients to change thoughts, habits and behaviours that are impacting wellbeing, both mentally and physically.
I am also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) which is a form of psychotherapy, it is a recognised treatment for PTSD and trauma, it is however, also a very effect tool in aiding anxiety relief, depression and behavioural change.
Much of my work also focuses upon Food Addiction, not just with regard to weight loss, but with the plethora of research that now links sugar with anxiety and depression. This is where my metabolic nutritional training not only supports weight loss, but also mental wellbeing.
With anxiety rates rocketing, I work to equip my clients with cognitive techniques to take back control of the bully that is anxiety. Teaching them how to break negative thought patterns and at the same time building confidence and belief in the ability to be free from anxiety.
I am also an ambassador for the Public Health Collaboration, which is a registered charity dedicated to helping to implement lifestyle & nutritional changes and advocating real food, with the aim of type 2 diabetic remission.I help my clients to make these changes, not through fad diets or shakes but with real food!
I work with my clients holistically, understanding that the mind and body are intrinsically linked, It’s about helping to change thoughts, beliefs, emotional responses and the behaviour changes. My sessions utilise all aspects of my knowledge.
Contact me today for a free phone consultation to discover how I can help you to take back control and move forward.
I look at my clients individually, and work with them to provide the support and changes that they wish to make.
a sample from my website of what my clients have to say:
I had considered having hypnotherapy for quite a while, as I struggle with my weight and my health. I knew I used food to boost my mood, whether anxious, upset or tired and soon poor health and fatigue, followed by bad diet and little exercise became a vicious circle and I knew I needed help.
Jacquie is great at what she does, right from the start I felt I'd made the right choice, she made me feel comfortable and supported. She tackled the surface problems of cravings etc whilst actually addressing the underlying thought and emotions. I knew I was an emotional person, but I now realise how I hold onto negative thoughts and memories. Jacquie helped me remember the positive ones, she made me believe in myself and worked on self-esteem. She gave me a goal! Now I am looking at things from a different perspective. I treat myself kindly and know 'I am worth it.'
Thank you Jacquie x
If you're ready to change, but don’t know where to start, then let me help you.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
