About me
Hello, I'm Emma,
I'm an analytical hypnotherapist who works with people who feel trapped when they find themselves in situations beyond their control - like habitual behaviour, phobias, confidence issues, coercive behaviour, difficult births, and post-natal depression. I specialise in anxiety and trauma.

It's normal for us to feel helpless in certain situations. However, if these situations make us feel trapped or unable to express ourselves, then this cycle benefits from some positive attention. We will often seek answers from our traditional support systems, which don't allow us to free ourselves from the space we are in.
Analytical hypnotherapy (hypnoanalysis) strengthens us to feel comfortable with ourselves again. By applying positive associations to situations, we give ourselves the power to move forward.
Hypnoanalysis is a long-lasting technique that discovers the underlying issue and treats this instead of just treating the symptoms, thereby giving you the tools to create changes from within.
The past influences how we act today, so I use techniques that help you change your unwanted behaviour patterns and move forward into a new future of your choosing. My sessions are centred around you; I believe in accepting, not correcting. You are in control of the session throughout.
I am an advocate for this technique, having benefited from it myself. I felt like I was in a glass lift – I could see everything around me, but I was stuck and felt disconnected from my life. Hypnoanalysis not only helped me start moving forward again, but it helped me find a side of myself that I'd hidden years before.
I celebrate my individuality and express it openly. I'm no longer ashamed to wear my bright pink Dr. Martens! I'm proud to be who I am and want to help you feel the same.

Training, qualifications & experience
General Hypnotherapy Standards Council Accredited Practitioner.
Member organisations
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
