About me

Hello, I'm Emma,

What issues do you work with?

I work with people who feel trapped when they find themselves in situations that they feel are beyond their control. I deal with phobias, confidence issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, pain management, and childhood trauma.

Open Skies helps people to find liberation by giving them the space and the tools to take on the world on their own terms.

What can therapy do for me?

It's normal for us to feel helpless in certain situations. We will often seek answers from our traditional support systems, which don't allow us to free ourselves from the space we are in.

Through the therapy I offer, I give clients the tools to feel empowered.

Hypnotherapy is a long-lasting technique that discovers the underlying issue and treats this instead of just treating the symptoms, thereby giving you the tools to create changes from within.

The past influences how we act today, so I use techniques that help you change your unwanted behaviour patterns and move forward into a new future of your choosing. My sessions are centred around you; I believe in accepting, not correcting. You are in control of the session throughout.

Getting Started

To book a session, please email me at emma@openskieshypnotherapy.co.uk, or WhatsApp me on 07904 839416. I will then call you for a brief initial chat about the nature of the issue you are seeking help with.

Before your first appointment you will be sent a questionnaire to complete with some further information which will enable me to tailor a treatment plan specifically to your circumstance and needs.

At the first appointment, we will spend some time allowing you to become familiar with the therapy room, and with me. There is no pressure to rush straight into talking about the nature of the issue, but of course I will be happy to listen and support you if you wish to do so. I will always be guided by you as to the pace of the sessions.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
