I personally discovered how powerful and helpful hypnotherapy is, nearly ten years ago, after I experienced a serious sea swimming accident and the stress and anxiety of the aftermath. Hypnotherapy helped me manage my physical pain and reduce my anxiety, being off work for some time. I quickly became fascinated by how successful it was for me.
I am now a qualified, registered and insured Clinical Hypnotherapist with a passion for connecting with and helping people. Appointments are available at my therapy rooms in central Brighton, and Saltdean, which are quiet, peaceful and safe, with space for a chaperone if you wish.
Home visits and online video appointments are also available.
Hypnotherapy is incredibly effective and versatile, and i enjoy working with clients to help them reach their full potential. I specialise working with stress and anxiety, and approach every client as a unique individual.
You may be interested to know that each of us experience the world with a bias of one or more of our senses. You may for example connect with your surroundings by visual or auditory perception more than olfactory or kinaesthetic experiences. I personalise all sessions to suit your needs, and attune to you.
Did you know that we all experience the state of hypnosis at least once every day, on our way to sleeping, maybe even engrossed in a movie or listening to music? It’s a relaxed natural state, where positive change can be made.
All of us, at some stage in life, might find ourselves emotionally stuck, with restrictive behaviour, thoughts or feelings, or struggling with stress. Hypnosis is very relaxing, useful in relieving and reducing stress and anxiety, enabling people to comprehend and make positive change.
In addition to my Hypnotherapy training, I apply my Transactional Analysis psychotherapeutic training. I also often use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neural Linguistic Programming techniques.
“I saw Ben for hypnotherapy for stress & anxiety. He was professional, knowledgeable, empathetic & kind. I found the sessions extremely beneficial and Ben listened and tailored each individual session to my needs. I really valued these sessions and now feel far more confident and in control. I’m very grateful to Ben for the positive changes he made to my life.”
“Ben helped me with my self confidence issues. He was very professional and ensured I felt comfortable at the same time during the sessions.”
“Ben helped me not only to make changes to my negative eating patterns, but fundamentally change my relationship with food. Having spent many years eating unhealthily as a response to stress, Ben worked with me to change an unconscious habit to a conscious process of noticing and choosing to behave differently in response to stress. I really liked that the work we did together focused on the root cause issues and not just the behavioral responses. Emotional eating is now a thing of the past for me.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with Ben. I felt comfortable and safe. He was sensitive to how I was feeling and gently took me to a deep place of relaxation. I lost sense of time and felt very in the moment. A very pleasant experience.”
“I had been experiencing some anxiety and lack of confidence since starting a new job. Ben put me at ease, taking time to identify what would help and work for me. My hypnotherapy sessions with Ben left me feeling calmer and emotionally stronger and I would 100% recommend him.”
I am happy to provide a free phone consultation to discuss how hypnotherapy can help you.
