About me

Hello, I'm Andrew Laing and I run Rochester Hypnotherapy Clinic and am also a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

I adopt an integrated approach using Hypnotherapy, NLP, TFT, CBT, EMDR, Counselling, and Psychotherapy to help clients with a full range of issues. I also believe it is really important to listen to clients, be empathetic, non-judge-mental and have a clear idea of what you would like to change from our time together.

I have 3 years of experience as a Samaritans listening volunteer, 3 years experience studying Sport and Exercise Psychology but my main interest has been Hypnotherapy for the past 5 years. My Grandad was a hypnotherapist for several decades changing any number of lives and that is something I want to replicate.

You can get in contact with me via email (rochesterhypnotherapyclinic@gmail.com) or phone number (07849041317).

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD, NCFE) and BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Psychology (Canterbury Christ Church University). I am also a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) – Accredited.

I have been a Listening Volunteer at Samaritans for 2 and a half years.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access

There are 2 steps into the premise.

I run a flexible diary and can accommodate evening and weekend appointments.
