About me

Hello, I’m a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner and over the years I’ve helped many clients overcome all manner of issues, including anxiety and panic attacks, fears, phobias, stress and depression; building up their confidence and self-esteem.

I'm passionate about hypnotherapy because I understand what it’s like to suffer with anxiety, to have fears and self-doubt; and I know how amazing life can be when you are free to do what you want to do without these things holding you back.  Through my own immensely transformative experience of hypnotherapy I've been free to enjoy my life more and I'd like others to have this freedom too.

You may not realise that the secret battles going on in your head can ripple out and affect your life in many ways, making it harder than it needs to be. It's these battles that are holding you back now and causing your issues and by doing so, they are also creating your future.  So the work we do is to get you back in control again.

When you come to see me, it’s not me fixing you; you’re not broken.  I believe everyone, including you, already has everything they need to be able to enjoy life more and achieve more.  So it’s a joint commitment and collaboration where we work together to achieve the positive changes you desire and deserve.

I'll help you to understand why your issue effects you the way it does and teach you to control your emotions for yourself, so that you won't feel helpless or a victim of your problem any longer.

I appreciate that choosing to come to a hypnotherapist could be a little daunting for some.  Plus, it is of the utmost importance to the success of your treatment that you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose.

Therefore I always recommend a free, no obligation phone call first, before making any commitment, where you can ask any questions and I can answer any concerns you may have. This chat also gives me an opportunity to properly assess whether this would be the most effective therapy for you.

  • Personalised Wordweaving (Suggestions created from your personal solution words intended to accelerate the rate of your improvement and make it permanent), designed to specifically target your issues and guide you towards being a happier you.  You’ll also get this as an audio file to download and keep.

  • Teaching you practical and simple yet effective techniques enabling you to feel in control and empower you.

At your first appointment I spend time getting to understand your issues and how they affect you.  This may take the full 90 minutes.  At subsequent sessions we will review how you are doing and then I’ll tailor each session to suit your specific needs – If you have any questions or would like to book, please contact me to discuss how I can help you.


£45 per session

If you’re not sure about hypnotherapy and would like to try a taster session – or would just like to escape the stresses of modern life. Come and de-stress with a wonderful mind massage where you can relax, calm your mind, let go of tension and improve the quality of your thoughts.

These appointments are 45 minutes long, with an opportunity to discuss whatever’s on your mind first, unwind and let go of any stresses, then enjoy a relaxing hypnotherapy mind massage.

Please note Mind Massage Relaxation is not about resolving issues that need more in depth therapeutic help.  If you are in any doubt which would be the right therapy for you or would like to book a wonderful session of relaxation, please contact me so we can discuss what’s the best option for you.

Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy is completely tailored to your individual way of thinking.

The approach is based on recent discoveries from neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology about how the brain works and how we make sense of our world. It combines various techniques and interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Positive Psychology, Traditional Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Gestalt.

By understanding you are unique and your issues are completely unique to you and using this eclectic approach, I have the flexibility to tailor make each treatment to your specific desired outcomes.

A Genuinely Evidence-based Approach

When people think about hypnotherapy they tend to think about the obvious issues like slimming and stopping smoking but it is so much more versatile than that.

In June 2015 the Quest Institute under took a clinical study to measure the effectiveness of Cognitive Hypnotherapy. In September 2015 The Mental Health Review Journal recorded that using 118 cases measuring the effectiveness of Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression, in an average of six sessions:



This published paper demonstrates the robustness of Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy.
