About me

My name is Stephanie, I am qualified and registered Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.

I trained in 2008 in Clinical hypnotherapy and Solution focused hypnotherapy and have over 12 years of clinical experience and expertise. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with a range of people from all walks of life and age range.

I work with people to help them develop and deepen Resilience, facilitate Change and the expression of their own Potential in an Integrated and Embodied way.

"I've been feeling so much better since I started seeing you. It really feels like you managed to work wonders on my emotional well being. When I started the therapy I felt so helpless and sad and now I'm feeling strong and capable of achieving things again. And I would like to thank you very, very much for saving me from this misery. I will really miss our sessions. Thank you very much once again for everything you've done for me".Amanda, Bristol

My main areas of work are:

  • Improve Confidence and Self-Esteem (including social confidence, public speaking)
  • Reduce Anxiety and Stress (work stress, chronic anxiety, self-harm, trauma)
  • Move on from Depression
  • Support with Change and Transitions
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Stop smoking program

I have also developed as a specialist in the clinical areas of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Smoking cessation, in both areas I have been very successful in resolving the issues clinically, leaving clients free from symptoms and free to enjoy living much fuller lives than they anticipated.

“I’ve got a new lease of life and I’m really enjoying it! If the room was bigger, I’d skip around it!” Tony, Bristol

My working background is varied, but reflective of my ethical values, including volunteering as a counsellor and working as an accountant in the charity sector for ten years or so.
I am an ordained Buddhist since 2009, having studied and practiced Buddhist philosophy and meditation since 1995. I have also studied secular mindfulness and teach meditation regularly.

I am also a Qigong (TaiChi) practitioner and teacher.

My various skills are all homed in and practiced professionally over years. They come together beautifully and effectively in my “Embodied Resilience” trainings offered to the public and in the public sector.
