I am a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, integrative counsellor and a bereavement volunteer for Cruse. I have had experience of working with stress, anxiety, depression, IBS, weight loss, past life regression, fears and phobias, stop smoking, addiction, confidence boosting, motivational work, nail biting and performance anxiety.
I am passionate about using our natural-born abilities to overcome difficulties in our lives to create a healthier, happier and enjoyable life. We all have this ability and hypnotherapy is an excellent example of using our inner thoughts and feelings to drive the changes we want to make.
I use other methods as well to help people un-tap their innate abilities to make changes for themselves by integrating counselling skills, working in a person centered way and applying my knowledge of CBT so depending on your situation, your belief system and how you want to be helped, I can pull on any number of ways to meet your needs in the most effective way.
If you want help to bring you back in control of your life, feel better, more energised or achieve a personal goal, enjoy exploring my website and contact me for further information or to book an appointment.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I specialise in working with trauma and PTSD, and weight problems. I am different to other hypnotherapists as I have had extensive experience in energy work having taught Reiki for 12 years. I believe there are a number of approaches to working with a client and as I am also an integrative counsellor I can draw on my knowledge and experience and create a more holistic and compassionate approach in working with clients. This means I often think outside the box of what is traditionally thought of as therapy, always ensuring I meet the individual needs of the client.

Before training in Hypnotherapy and counselling I was a registered childminder for 11 years and as part of my training I also gained a CACHE level 3 certificate in working with children under the age of 18 in special needs, in particular emotional and behavioural difficulties. I also worked at the local family centre for 18 months as a play and outreach worker. I was also lucky enough to train in baby massage with Peter Walker. All these years of experience helped me to build fabulous listening and empathetic skills.
