About me
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a special interest in helping clients 16 years+ with Stress, Anxiety, Confidence and Weight Management. I can help in many other areas, and I also provide Hypnotherapy sessions specifically for people suffering from IBS. I provide Parts Therapy for the resolution and release of internal conflict. Parts Therapy can also benefit people who are looking to lose weight and change unhealthy habits.
I am a qualified Thought Field Therapy Practitioner (TFT) This fast therapy can help relieve the symptoms of PTSD, Stress, Anxiety, Anger, Greif, Shame, Embarrassment, addictive urges and more*
*TFT can be combined with hypnotherapy.
It's so important to feel comfortable, and I make it the most important thing to put you at ease throughout the process, everything will be fully explained before hand and we will have plenty of time to talk and shape your therapy experience together.
At your first session we will talk about the area you would like help with and I will talk you through the entire process, we will spend 30/40 in this area before spending 20/30 minutes for hypnosis, where you will be guided gently through a pleasant and relaxing visualisation, using techniques designed to speak to your subconscious, where we will work on the issues agreed. You will be in full control at all times, just enjoying a higher state of awareness whilst being beautifully relaxed.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
