About me
Feel calmer, lighter, and more in control — with professional hypnotherapy that works
I’m a fully qualified, professionally registered, and insured Master Hypnotherapist (and Master NLP Practitioner) with extensive experience helping people overcome anxiety, stress, and the pressures of modern life.
Many of my clients arrive feeling tense, restless, or overwhelmed — struggling to switch off or find peace of mind. Together, we create a way forward that feels calmer, clearer, and easier to manage.
Anxiety can affect anyone, from busy professionals under constant pressure to those who’ve simply had enough of feeling on edge. My sessions use proven hypnotherapy techniques tailored to your unique needs, helping you relax deeply, release old patterns, and build confidence and control.
I work with each person’s individual situation to help uncover creative solutions to problems that have kept them stuck or limited their outlook. My focus is always on practical, results-based hypnotherapy — a safe, natural, and effective way to retrain your mind and body’s response to stress and anxiety.
Clients often tell me they notice positive shifts within just a few sessions: sleeping better, thinking more clearly, and feeling calmer in situations that once triggered anxiety.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards lasting change, I invite you to get in touch with any questions or to arrange your free, no-obligation consultation. This relaxed conversation (by phone or video call) allows us to explore your needs and ensure I’m the right therapist for you.
Let’s work together to help you move beyond anxiety and rediscover a sense of balance, confidence, and ease.

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level. All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

FAQs
What can I expect when I book an appointment with you?
At our first appointment we begin by getting to know what you would like to achieve from hypnotherapy and gather information about your current situation. I will begin to introduce you to a style of trance that I assess to be appropriate to you. During this appointment you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have of me. I will indicate what I think will be required and if you choose to go ahead we will make a plan together.
How frequently will my appointments take place?
There is no set requirement on this. Weekly, fortnightly as appropriate.
Where will my appointment take place?
I use office accommodation within Sheffield city centre for my sessions. There is parking close by and good public transport.
Can you visit me at home?
Yes, in exceptional circumstances and where there is a strong preference. I will need some discussion about the space that this will take place in beforehand.
Can I bring someone along for support?
I rather that it is just you and me present in the room as I believe it prevents any distractions and can allow open discussion, no matter how well the other person might know you. I do appreciate that there are a number of circumstances in which it is helpful to at least be accompanied by someone into the room and I am always flexible.
What does trance / hypnotherapy feel like?
Trance is a natural phenomena and a subjective experience felt differently by everyone. A feeling of deep relaxation where you have let the cares and worries of your day go. A feeling of a warm glow inside with maybe a focus on part of your body or wellbeing. It is common for people to state that I can't have been hypnotised because I wasn't unconscious or I can remember what happened. When people begin to forget about their ideas of what hypnotherapy should be and begin to enjoy trance they are normally eager to experience the induction again and again.
