About me

A warm hello, my name is Katerina. I am a facilitator of change with an innate passion for human fulfillment (so many of us do not even know what that’s like); fascination for human abilities (do YOU know what you are capable of if equipped with the right mindset?); curiosity for individuality (human beings are all the same in essence but completely unique in existence) - EVERYONE have an inspirational story of their life to tell. What is YOUR story?... what is the story YOU DESIRE to live?

It will be my privilege to work with you. Whatever is holding you back from living your life on your terms with meaning, self-compassion and inner peace is sure worth talking about: anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, panic, phobias, chronic pain, anger, loss, separation, grief, relationships, divorce, communication, fertility, birth trauma, childhood related issues, self-esteem, self-belief, life changes and milestones, workplace and career challenges, learning to manage physical and mental well-being.

YOU are not alone! ... in a safe and impartial space - together we will find a way of working with compassion, curiosity and humour. Oh yes, we will absolutely laugh too! ;)

With over 8 years of study, research and practice with clients from diverse walks of life equipped me with vital knowledge and understanding of integrative psychotherapy that allows me to draw from a range of approaches to work creatively with you and act as a catalyst for new perceptions and attitudes to emerge.

Despite the accumulated knowledge of evidence-based approaches, YOU are an expert on being you and I will only be there to guide you to tap into your internal resources to stop living a life by default and start living it by a design of your own. As a dynamic, creative and resourceful integrative therapist, I do not believe in 'one size fits all'. Our collaborative working alliance of my innate capacity to respond respectfully and authentically coupled with your courage to actively participate in the therapeutic process, is at the heart of the transformation and success you can experience in working with me.

“We’ll never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it.” ~ Travis Rice

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Hypnotherapy Society

National Hypnotherapy Society

The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.

Further information

Therapy is paramount to health, well-being and personal growth. Sharing your story, your experiences, your thoughts and feelings with a skilled professional in a confidential and respectful environment enables change, facilitates healing, enhances your healthy sense of self and enriches life with greater meaning and awareness of your inner resources and emotional competence that is already within you. It is my privilege to both facilitate and bear witness to this process!

"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

It is crucial that you find the right counsellor / psychotherapist for you. All of the aforementioned is a compilation of meaningless words and a waste of your precious time without the rapport.

To help you make this important decision, I offer 30 mins FREE consultation call, which comes at no charge, is an opportunity for you to share your difficulties, desired goals and inquire about therapeutic process and how it can help you begin living the life on your terms with meaning, self-compassion and inner peace.

Following the initial assessment, you will be offered insights, suggestions and options on ways of working to suit your needs. There is no obligation to continue after the initial consultation. If you do decide to work with me, sessions are usually on a weekly basis and last 50 minutes (longer sessions can be arranged in advance should we face a more complicated concern). For any issues that occurred early in life, such as borderline traits, thorough treatment plan (sessions of minimum of 1 year) will be recommended.
