About me

My name is Julia, and as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner, I use advanced methods of hypnosis and other techniques to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems.

As a therapist, I offer bespoke programmes that harnesses the power of Hypnotherapy and NLP. I will be able to help you to understand what is happening right now in your life, trace it back to the root that caused the pain, to heal what needs to be healed, to then help you strengthen your sense of identity. You will be back in charge and in control of your own life - physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

I have a wealth of experience in coaching, advising, and supporting people in my past work roles. I use this experience with my current clients, alongside my skills and knowledge of the human psyche from my academic achievements.

It would be a delight to get to know you and to be able to make a difference to your life. I practice virtually using Zoom or in person from either Ipswich or Sudbury, Suffolk.

I am committed to my work and abide by the ethics of my profession.

Your well-being and privacy are of paramount importance to me as your therapist. I am experienced at working with neurodiverse clients who have anxiety and social phobia. I have a special interest and experience of working with victims of domestic abuse and childhood trauma.

I offer an almost endless list of conditions that I treat, including;

Smoking Cessation

  • Panic Attacks
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Pain Management
  • PTSD
  • Phobias
  • ASD
  • Phobias
  • Claustraphobia

What is not working right now in your life? Perhaps you just want everything to be alright, to calm down? Maybe you want to know how to gain some control over your life? Are you feeling lost, helpless and stuck? Perhaps you are having anxiety, panic attacks or feeling low and depressed. Is there something else troubling you?

Whatever it is, let me help you!

The next step is to arrange an initial free 30 minutes consultation - get in touch by phone or email.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
