About me
Hi, I'm Jo White, a Solution Focused Clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist (HPD, DSFH,), specialising in working with parents. I support parents to manage their mental health so that they can feel well and enjoy family life. I'm based in Peterborough and also work online. I can support with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress and overwhelm, birth and perinatal trauma, self-confidence, fertility, phobias and much more.
Parenting is a true journey of discovery. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s not and one of the most helpful things is to have someone sit alongside us when things feel bumpy or we want to make a change.
This is what Love Parenthood hypnotherapy sessions are all about. These gentle sessions are about looking to the future, understanding what’s going on in our brains as parents, identifying our needs, and gaining the confidence to make changes.
I often see burnt-out or stressed parents who have simply forgotten how to look after themselves, believing that ignoring their own needs and focusing on their family is the only option. It's wonderful to see these parents take control again with hypnotherapy and notice the benefits that self-care and healing can have on the whole family.
I offer a relaxing and non judgemental space for you to explore, grow and heal.
Training, qualifications & experience
Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training: DSFH (Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy), HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma) I am registered with the AfSFH, am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS.
I have worked with families for over a decade, and have always specialised in supporting children and parents. I started my career as a primary school teacher, when my son was born I found myself becoming more and more anxious, I could teach a class of 30 with no problem, but one little baby had me in tears! hypnotherapy and rewind therapy really helped me to find my balance again and now I love to share the tools and power of hypnotherapy with other parents.
I love to learn and I continue to attend regular Continued Professional Development days and courses so that I can provide you with the most up to date knowledge and skills available.

Member organisations
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
