About me

If you, your child or teenager needs help to move forward, to overcome challenges with anxiety, fear, confidence, body-image, pain or phobias, and be the person you know you can be, please get in touch.  I can help.

I will work with you to achieve your goals, using gentle, caring and supportive techniques including talk therapy, accessible explanations to help you understand why you are feeling as you do and what we can do to help,  and relaxing solution-focused hypnotherapy to recruit your subconscious mind onto your side.

Our work together will look forward in a completely practical, realistic and achievable way.  We will clarify and articulate the meaningful changes you want to make, and find the ways to get you there.  We will look forward, focusing on solutions, tools, techniques and strategies.  You will NOT need to justify your feelings by dwelling on past experiences or re-live any painful history.  Our starting point is where you are now, our goal is where do you want to get to.

I will help you understand and recognise all the resources you have at your disposal, and to understand how and why we can all fall victim to anxieties, fears, depression, anger and inabilities to cope.  Our work will empower you to understand yourself and make the changes you want to make.  Hypnosis will employ your subconscious mind to help you realise your goals.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified and experienced clinical psychotherapist and solution-focused hypnotherapist.  I trained with CPHT, widely regarded as the Gold Standard in solution-focused hypnotherapy training, and also hold the National Council for Hypnotherapy accredited Diploma qualification.

In addition I have years of experience in business, as a manager in global management consultancies, and hold an MSc and BA.

I am also a mum and have experienced and supported others through serious mental and physical health challenges and so have first hand experience of the difficulties (and joys) of parenting, work and life.

Information about health conditions (*)

Additional information

We will start with an entirely free discussion where you can explain how you want to take control of your life and become the person you know you can be.

Then we will have a very in-depth initial consultation at a cost of £50 lasting one hour.  We will explore what you need to achieve and I will give you a detailed understanding of how our minds can be either our worst enemy, or best friend, and how we will use that knowledge to help you regain control.

Our sessions together thereafter will also include hypnosis to cement all the intentions, goals and strategies will will discuss in each session.  These sessions will last one hour and cost £80 each.

Solution-focused hypnotherapy is comparatively quick, usually requiring around 8-12 sessions.  A stop vaping or smoking session lasts two and half hours and costs £200.

If you are on a low income or in receipt of benefits I may be able to offer reduced price sessions.

Testimonials From Clients:

P, Actor/Artist, London: "Jackie guided me with great skill, confidence and kindness to shift my perspective. I can honestly say that from the very first session I began to feel better. The (panic) attacks decreased in both frequency and severity and over and above this I just began to feel a lot happier in myself; also more self confident than I had ever felt before. After roughly ten sessions the attacks had completely stopped and I had, with Jackie’s help, developed an ability to recognise when I was vulnerable and prevent myself from succumbing. A month or so on from my last session I am in an excellent place, improving all the time and see no reason for this to change.

J, Business Owner, Sussex: "Jackie has been a pleasure to work with and I can’t thank her enough. Her gentle approach to working with clients, helping them navigate life’s stresses and problems is life-changing. Using Hypnotherapy and therapeutic relaxation techniques, Jackie helped me see a way through a serious business problem that was causing me huge anxiety and stress. If you have a problem that needs addressing, don’t hesitate to give her a call. She’s amazing!"

S, Business Owner, Berlin "Brave and helpful hypnotherapy - Jackie helped me understand my stress and anxiety by explaining how stress is created in the brain.  The sessions are well structured and give clear explanations about what we are learning and why we are learning it.  Everything is explained in a clear and friendly way that helps you relax while also helping you engage with your challenges.  Jackie creates a friendly, caring and effective hypnotherapy session that you can explore new perspectives and feel safe in - highly recommend!"

M, Student, Surrey: "I have found that hypnotherapy with Jackie has shifted my perspective and significantly improved my life and happiness.  My aim was to gain control over my anxiety and hopefully reduce the symptoms of it.  Jackie’s purposeful but sympathetic nature meant that I felt extremely comfortable during the sessions to be honest and vulnerable whilst maintaining focus.  The clear and insightful explanation and reminders of the science of the brain was a key element of hypnotherapy which I found to be immeasurably effective and beneficial.  Jackie’s patience and training has equipped her to be an amazing hypnotherapist who I cannot recommend enough."
