About me

Hello, my name is Hugh Christensen and I have been in full-time practice for over 20 years.

My aim is to offer fast, successful and positive changes. I have helped clients overcome just about every type of symptom, so what may seem unusual to you, will seem ordinary and easily treatable to me.

I offer a wide range of self-healing and stress management techniques, and have successfully treated hundreds of clients. I have been practicing in Shepperton for the last fifteen years, and previously in Central London, Sunbury-on-Thames and a Surrey GP surgery.

Whether you need hypnotherapy or just simple advice, let us move you forwards to where you want to be, it's just what you need. My consulting room is next to my house so there is free parking on the drive. I welcome you to book a free no obligation consultation and please feel free to bring a friend for support if you wish. For more information, please feel free to make contact with me.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been a fully qualified Hypnotherapist since 1995, having trained with the IAH (Europe's largest group of hypnotherapy trainers) and gaining a diploma from the Hypnotherapy Control Board (HCB). I have also attended many courses in a wide range of psychological studies such as NLP and CBT.

I attend regular training with the National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists (NRAH), I am an accredited Life Coach with the Coaching Academy, and I am also the co-founder of Chatsworth College of Stress Management.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

  • Initial consultation FREE
  • My fees are £60 per session - These last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Between 1 and 12 sessions may be needed, and we can discuss this in your initial consultation. The aim is to get you happy in as short a period of time as possible.

  • Stop Smoking for Good in One session £180.

At a glance you may think this session is slightly expensive, so I encourage you to think of the savings you could make from stopping smoking for good! If for example you smoke a packet of cigarettes a day, in just 3 weeks as a non-smoker, you will have covered the cost of this session. I also offer additional support / back up sessions (if required) inclusive of this price (maximum two sessions).

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
