About me

Healing Hypnotherapy specializes in therapeutic counselling through the use of clinical hypnotherapy for clients in Birmingham and across the West Midlands, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
Before I became a qualified professional therapist I spent a number of years running my own company specializing in sales & marketing. I soon discovered that nature had blessed me with good listening skills and the ability to empathize with people This has given me the advantage of understanding the real world thus helping me know what exactly my clients require from me.

Clinical hypnotherapy delivered by professionally qualified practitioners differs greatly from the hypnosis you may have seen on the TV and the stage for entertainment purposes. Through careful assessment procedures I will are be to tailor your treatment to your individual issues to help support you with your specific needs.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Initial consultation will be £20 and thereafter £50 per session. If you need to cancel an appointment please attempt to give at least 24 hours’ notice.  I do not provide free hypnotherapy, but for those who are facing financial hardship discounts can be arranged.

Further information

What is Hypnotherapy?

It is a method or practice whereby using hypnosis which is a completely natural state that along with the input of a properly trained and confident therapist can create positive changes in a person’s mental, emotional and physical state. It cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do or that you morally object to. You cannot get stuck in hypnosis and can leave the state whenever you wish to.

Is Hypnotherapy an instant cure?

Generally speaking it is not an instant cure or a magic wand. As with all treatments, both orthodox and complementary, a 100% success rate is not possible, but it is quite possible for the client to gain from hypnotherapy something that you were not expecting from your initial goal of therapy.

Does Hypnotherapy work for everyone?

It will be wrong to say that hypnotherapy can work for everyone. Like most things in life depending what you put into it, it will govern what you will get out of it. If you have an open mind and are committed to achieve the goal of whatever your issue is then you will probably be successful. You will be guided by the therapist as to what is sensibly achievable.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
