About me
Hello, I’m Chris O’Connor, founder of award-winning Eccleston Park Hypnotherapy.
I’m a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist specialising in anxiety, stress, sleep problems, and low mood. I help adults and young people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not themselves regain calm, clarity, and control.
Over the years, I’ve accumulated more than 240 five-star reviews on Google - reflecting the consistent results and supportive experience my clients receive.
I also have significant experience supporting neurodivergent children and adults, including those with ADHD and autism. Sessions are adapted to suit the individual - whether that means working at a different pace, providing clear structure, or creating a comfortable, sensory-aware environment. My aim is always to provide a safe, understanding space where clients feel genuinely supported.
Alongside my general therapy work, I specialise in eliminating dartitis and other performance-related mental blocks. I am an official partner of the Professional Darts Players Association (PDPA) and have worked with professional players to overcome dartitis completely and perform with confidence under pressure.
Having personally overcome depression earlier in life, I understand how exhausting mental health struggles can feel - and how powerful the right support can be. My approach is practical, supportive, and solution-focused. We don’t dwell on the past; we focus on helping your brain reset and move forward.
I regularly work with clients experiencing:
• Anxiety & overthinking
• Panic attacks
• Sleep issues & insomnia
• Low confidence
• Stress & burnout
• Fears & phobias
• Performance anxiety & dartitis
Sessions are relaxed and empowering, and many clients notice improvements within just a few weeks.
Whether you’re a professional athlete, a neurodivergent young person, or simply someone wanting to feel calmer day-to-day, you’ll receive the same level of care, professionalism, and commitment.
If you’re ready to feel more in control and move forward with confidence, I’d be happy to help.
