About us
As a retired police officer, I have come across many people who have experienced trauma in the past. Many of these people are professional, organised and on the outside, seem to lead a very calm and easy life. However, past trauma can affect many of us in different ways, affecting our daily lives, leading to anxiety, panic attacks, anger, inability to have an equal relationship. And there are also other ways that trauma can manifest in peoples lives-weight gain, chronic pain, skin conditions, auto immune illnesses and many more.
I use Hypnotherapy to guide you to resolve the inner conflict, to accept and to help that part of you that is stuck at the point of trauma, to move on, to stop feeling angry, belittled, frustrated etc. I offer a six week protocol for trauma, as well as stand aloe packages to improve your relationship with food, to increase confidence and to ultimately live the life you deserve.
I have always loved to help others and to see the change in my clients is the best feeling. I have a great sense of humour and am also very compassionate, I love to listen and I love to problem solve to help you.
I live in beautiful Derbyshire with my husband and two toy poodles. Our two grown up children have flown the nest now. I offer sessions from my home, but also via a video call, which I have found to be just as effective.

I am a member of Sheila Grangers Hypnosis Growth Club and belong to several other hypnotherapy groups, including groups that focus on helping with PTSD.
Member organisations *
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
