About me
Do you seem okay on the outside but not okay underneath?
You might be anxious, overwhelmed or self-critical and you might replay conversations, overreact or become non-responsive in relationships, maybe feeling disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you understand why these patterns happenor you might be beginning to notice them. Either way, you do not need to have it all worked out before getting in touch.
I am a hypno-psychotherapeutic counsellor and UKCP trainee, offering trauma-informed counselling and hypnotherapy for adults in Verwood and online. My work is relational, trauma-informed and centred and paced around you. We can begin with what feels most important to you, making sense of the thoughts, feelings, body responses and relationship patterns that might be keeping you stuck.
Sessions may be mainly conversational. Where helpful, we may also use grounding, guided imagery, resourcing, parts-informed exploration or hypnotherapy, all with your consent.
I have a particular interest in anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-worth, shame and difficult emotional or relationship patterns. You might be looking for support around a clear concern, or space to explore something that has been with you for a long time. We can work with what is in front of you, at a pace that feels manageable and then explore a way forward together.
I offer a free 20-minute discovery call by phone or Zoom, so we can briefly discuss what you are looking for and whether working together feels right.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NCHP) and graduated with a Certificate in Hypnotherapy in August 2023.
I received a Diploma in Hypno-psychotherapeutic Counselling through the NCHP in June 2025.
I am currently working towards UKCP accreditation as a Hypno-Psychotherapist, and thus am abiding by the UKCP Code of Ethics.
Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy. In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers. A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

info Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
