Anne is a Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner.
She was president of the National Council of Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapy Register from 1990-1996.
Her father was the founder in 1971 of the National Council of Psychotherapists which was the first organisation of its kind for the protection and supervision of Hypnotherapists, Psychotherapists and their clients. As a result of the influence of her father in her formative years, Anne has gained a wealth of experience in Hypnotherapy. She assisted with the development of the Hypnotherapy Association, becoming a committee member and director.
She consults at the Prestigious Hale Clinic in London and also her own private practice in Cobham, Surrey.
She uses all of her experience and accumulated knowledge gained through extensive training in various disciplines. She has a natural warmth and approachable way with her clients helping them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable within each therapy session. She also uses her intuition to tailor make the most appropriate therapy for each persons unique needs, helping to make changes towards a more fulfilling future.
She has an international clientèle and has helped thousands of people including prominent actors, sports persons and entrepreneurs to overcome their problems and fulfil their potential.
Anne has been invited to make several television appearances and has participated in radio interviews. She has appeared in numerous newspaper and magazine articles both here and abroad which have featured her skills.
Over the years she has helped people to overcome many stress related conditions, panic attacks, low self esteem, phobias, fear of flying, motorway driving, public speaking, weight loss and relationship problems.
Training, qualifications & experience
Anne trained at the National Council of Psychotherapy 1983/1984. She was elected to a full member of the council in 1986, finally becoming its president 1990-96. During that time she set up many workshops and seminars.
In 1998 she became a committee member and director of the Hypnotherapy Association assisting with its development. She is currently a full member of the Hypnotherapy Association and therefore governed by a strict code of ethics including regular supervision.
Anne has attended courses in Advanced Applied Neurology at the Centre for Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Development Centre. She has training in pain relief and stress management, past life therapy, Reiki, colour healing (Bluebird Holistic Healing) became a certified NLP practitioner in 2001 and achieved Certified Master NLP Practitioner in 2003.
Anne is also a qualified Timeline Therapist and is trained in Numerology.
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The Hypnotherapy Association is a leading independent professional body in Britain representing approved hypnotherapists in active practice. All members agree to follow a code of ethics.
There are a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member, Licentiate Member, and Full member, with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience.
Hypnotherapy Association is a Registered Member of UKCHO (an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom).
