Overcoming addictions with hypnosis

What can start out as a bit of fun or a habit can, for some people, end up as an addiction. An addiction can literally take over an individual’s life, dominating their thinking, how they feel and their behaviours and actions. Imagine a successful man who becomes addicted to alcohol; it’s possible that he could lose everything, his business, his family, his home, his reputation, his health because of the destructive impact of his addiction to alcohol.

Of course it’s not just alcohol that people become addicted to. Other addictions include using food, exercise, tobacco, cannabis, prescription drugs, sex and recreational drugs. Addictions can control an individual’s personal relationships, their work relationships and so much more, disrupting and limiting their life.

There are lots of reasons why an individual can become addicted to something including negative emotions like sadness, low self-esteem, a traumatic experience from the past and stress to name a few. In regaining control of their life requires the person to be an end to the addiction cycle and therefore enjoying life as it should be. For some people breaking the pattern and overcoming the problem is relatively straight forward but for many, many other people some help or expert assistance is required to eliminate the addiction completely.

Hypnosis is a highly effective method for overcoming an addiction which is safe and quick because it works at the unconscious level.

During hypnosis the individual experiences deep levels of relaxation where their unconscious mind becomes open to positive suggestions, ideas and new perspectives. This process can be quite profound and yet highly effective.

Plus during hypnosis the individual can expect to be given encouragement, motivation, confidence - building statements which they can actualise in their own time and at their own pace. All of the positive suggestions that the unconscious mind receives are in line with the changes that the person wants to make creating new patterns of thinking and behaviour.

With hypnosis you can overcome your addiction and live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.
