Why do people come to see me?
There are numerous reasons people come and see me. Perhaps they are suffering from stress or anxiety, even panic attacks. Although stress and anxiety can be related to specific problems like relationships or work, sometimes it just feels like life in general.
People may come to see me because they have a fear or phobia like a fear of flying, a fear of spiders or the dentist the list is endless!
People may have decided it is time to stop a bad habit like smoking, people who have been to see me frequently recommend others to come and see me.
Maybe they need to lose a bit of weight or bring their life style under control. Perhaps they just want some time to talk things through. The list of the things I deal with is endless!
No matter how bad things seem though, a little help is often all that is needed to begin to sort things out, It is essential that the person you turn to for help and advice is non-judgemental and properly qualified to offer the help and support needed using a variety of options in therapy.

What's my background?
After many years of self employment running a busy international retail business I decided it was time to change direction, I had long had a keen interest in all areas of human thinking, behaviour and motivation.
I attended class room training at The Kent Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, based at Benenden Hospital Trust. Later I continued to advanced level qualification by doing another 2 years training at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
It was a great honour to be nominated for an National and International Award for student of the year at the end of my training and in 2014 to win the APHP International Hypnotherapist of the Year Award in 2015.
Many specialist qualifications have been added to my hypnotherapy base since my original training and I keep very up to date with the latest techniques
I was delighted be awarded a Fellowship of The Association for Professional Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (APHP) in October 2016
My professional memberships include
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (FAPHP) based in England but has members all over the world. What sets this organisation apart from most of the numerous other hypnotherapy organisations is the fact that every single member has been personally interviewed before being invited to join and/or has received comprehensive training by a school whose standards have been rigorously investigated.
The National Council of Psychotherapists (MNCP).
The MNRPC
I am registered as a CNHC recognised practitioner, the Department of Health recommends that where CNHC registers the professional discipline in question, you consult with someone who is CNHC registered. This is because the CNHC rigorously checks the qualifications and training of those it registers.
