My name is Carol Davies, I am a qualified, accredited and fully insured “Chrysalis Therapist” and member of The National Hypnotherapy Society, The National Counselling Society and The National Council for Hypnotherapy.
I am a Qualified Nurse with more than 20 years acute nursing experience. It was during my nursing career that I first became interested in how some patients, recovered from illnesses far quicker than others and I began to wonder just what thought processes they held that impacted upon that recovery.
The more I understood just how powerful our minds are the more passionate I became about the many benefits that hypnotherapy could offer people to better value themselves. I strongly believe that with a little guidance everyone can be their own therapist, for the subconscious mind always knows exactly what the problem is and exactly how to resolve it.
I own and run the Upton Therapy Centre, which provides Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Counselling in an friendly and homely environment that offers warmth, care and understanding whilst helping people to overcome their life challenges. The relaxed atmosphere, quiet surroundings and welcoming advice will put you at ease as you begin your journey of self discovery and become the person you want to be.
I offer hypnotherapy to promote a sense of well-being, aid relaxation and improve energy levels, for a wide range of conditions. I work with adults and adolescents, some clients refer themselves, others are referred by doctors, employers or by personal recommendation. I keep abreast of new developments and research in the field of therapy by engaging in continual professional development in a variety of different ways:
- By attending courses and workshops throughout the year.
- By reading journals and topical books.
- By undergoing regular supervision and networking with other therapists.
